About Refuge4Men.Org

Refuge4men is a domestic violence CIC that is providing support for male victims of domestic abuse and violence accros the UKMale domestic abuse victims are suffering a lack of support despite a sharp rise in attacks. We are providing desperately needed support to those suffering and also those who are helping by offering a totally confidential free support line 24 hours a day to signpost people in the right direction when they need it most. We are officially launching the fundraising campaign today and whilst we are not trying to reinvent the wheel, we will endeavor to make a difference .  We cannot stand by while one in six men are abused for the most part, invisibly. Every child deserves a safe and secure home. But witnessing domestic abuse can have long-term effects on children and young people who all too often witness attacks. If you are unable to make a donation then please spread the word.   Thank you. Please read on. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . We need enough money to run a phone line that will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and we need to spread the word that domestic violence, in whatever form, needs to stop.  If you are a man in an abusive relationship, it is important to know that you are not alone.   Abuse of men happens far more often than you might expect—in both heterosexual and same sex relationships.   It happens to men from all cultures and all walks of life, regardless of age or occupation. Figures suggest that as many as one in three victims of domestic violence are male. However, men are often reluctant to report abuse because they feel embarrassed, fear they will not be believed, or are scared that their partner will take revengegofundme.com/f Link - Linkedin: http://www. linkedin.com/company /d-v-free-uk
