Founded September 1955 by the Jones family as a petrol forecourt and local taxi firm in Worcester Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. In 1983 Regal was merged with another, well established local car agency owned by the Mayneord family, This created a multi franchise outlet with the addition of Chrysler Talbot cars and vans. The used car forecourt was doubled and a new service facility was developed. Widely recognised as one of the UKs leading car dealerships and achieving recognition for quality of service and sales performance for multiple brands. In October 2010, Tim Mayneord who had been running the business since 1995 decided to sell the brand new premises which had been relocated to Buntsford Hill in Bromsgrove Worcestershire now operated by Arbury also known as cathedral motors to take a break from the "traditional" motor industry.
