We had our wedding here yesterday and I can’t thank the staff enough, especially Mandy what a special lady! Everything ran so smoothly and made me feel at ease was absolutely perfect thank you xxx

Valentine’s Day, menu was great and food excellent. We were frequently asked if all was satisfactory and our service totally professional and polite. I know Reid’s cannot control the weather but a covered walk way from carpark to front entrance wouldn’t go amiss. It is English weather we are talking here.

Reids hospitality is fantastic! We were out as a group of four yesterday, staff very friendly and welcoming and Gavin was extremely helpful! Definitely recommend this bar! �

Lovely catch up with friends, while enjoying the lovely surroundings, helpful and attentive staff, topped only by the delicious food, at a very reasonable price. Thanks Reid's, will be visiting again soon.

Just been to frozen funday absolutely loved it!! So worth the money! My kids loved it xxx

I hired the gallery area in Reid's last night for private dining for my 40th Birthday. It was a fantastic evening, the food was delicious and piping hot. The staff were great in particular the young lady who was with us all evening serving behind the bar and taking the food orders. She was constantly checking we were okay and that everything was okay, she definitely earnt her money. Thanks to all who made my night a great one, each and every guest said how much they enjoyed it.

Had family & friends in the gallery yesterday for our son's 21st and daughter's 18th. Great food and the service by the girls was fab. Didn't need to ask for anything. This is the second time we've used Reid's to celebrate as Dad had a big party for his 80th. It's great to find somewhere local to use

Had a great night at Reids Bar for my Sister’s Hen Party. A special thanks to Gavin for looking after us all so well, nothing was too much trouble! X

Came for Mother’s Day and it was amazing, the staff are outstanding and they went above & beyond to look after us, including the chef who made my two year a special starter and main as he’s allergic to dairy and nuts, they even took him to get some balloons, fantastic day!

Food was brilliant but the service rather slow however we all had a fabulous lunch on Sunday and it meant we actually all had to talk with each other so very enjoyable- would come back again no problem

We went for a tribute night it was "ok" seen a lot worse seen a lot better. Keep an eye on your bill, people were mentioning extra drinks added wasnt until we checked ours we also had added drinks. Bit cheeky aswell they dont do their drink deals in the restaurant area on a tribute night despite displaying everywhere including the advertising live screens! We expected it so wasnt over annoyed but still cheeky! Generally a good evening at 30quid, 3 course meal and couple hours entertainment. I woodnt be spending more. Thankfully drinks were "reasonable" or i wood of stood my ground more on the drinks offer.

Staff were pleasant and done what they could but not enough or efficient enough for the event in my opinion.

Nice food and friendly staff. However lack of attention to detail. Wrong menus on the table for bottomless prosecco lunch. Steak knives not offered at all. Prosecco was not as free flowing as other venues and had to ask for another bottle each time. Having said this, the food was delicious and staff lovely so completely think improvements should be from a management direction.

Had the cocktail making experience along with 9 other friends. Matthew led our cocktail class and he was absolutely brilliant, he did such a good job! However, upon booking I paid a £150 non-refundable deposit and not all that had paid their deposit turned up. After paying this, I assumed it would come off of our food bill as I was not told otherwise. When our bill came I had noticed that all of this money had not come off so spoke to the manager about this. He told me that I was told this over the phone upon booking, upon which I argued that I wasn’t and his reply was simply ‘everyone gets told’. I told him again that I was not told and had even called a couple of days before to let the restaurant know that some guests would not be attending and they also did not inform me at this point either, he repeated ‘everyone gets told’. So rather than apologising to me, he continued to argue with me about the fact that I was. I also asked for the restaurant to bring out a birthday dessert for the birthday girl, they didn’t do this either.

Didn't get off to a great start, there was no real direction from staff so didn't know what to expect. As drink had already been paid for expected to see bottles on the table at arrival and this was not the case. However, food was very good, which made up for it. Dance floor was too small for the amount of people crammed in and wasnt kept drink free so floor was a wet sticky, potentially dangerous mess by the end of the evening. Music ok, not for everyone but maybe that's just because I'm getting old!!! All in all for a Christmas night out it was a good one. Selection of wines, beers and spirits was very good. ���� Cheers.

We visited just before 5pm on a Sunday and the table wasn't set up when we got there even though I'd booked it nearly a week before and the restaurant wasn't packed. This wasn't the biggest issue the food was! Roast potatoes hard like they had been cooked and cooked again, we had to ask for them to bring the veg and gravy (standard accompaniments) my husbands cod was twice cooked and inedible! pleasant staff but all very young and seem unsure of what they are doing at times. No one asked us how our meal was otherwise we may have said something at the time. Basically it very disappointing!

We had family with us and we had never taken them there before, won't be rushing back!

We have just had one of the worst meals we have ever had at a restaurant, not sure what has happened there but standards have definitely slipped . We did hear waitress say sorry to two other tables whilst we were in there not sure why though . We gave a big event coming up in the new year which we were thinking of holding there but definitely not now it was awful . Such a shame as the waitresses were lovely & very helpful just the food let it down

Just want to let people know what a disgraceful place this must be . Booked a table for 18 for my dad's 70th birthday, unfortunately had to postpone due to my mum being in hospital . Unfortunately my mum is now in hospital for the foreseeable future , so have had to cancel , gave them 2 weeks notice , have just been informed, following 2 weeks of ME phoning them , that there is no refund ! Even though the restaurant is full on the date we booked ! So they haven't lost any table space and are £80 up due to my deposit . I'm sure anywhere else this is regarded as stealing ! NOT HAPPY �
