What a fab place to go something for everyone an the swimming baths are a must the heated outdoor swirl pool is fab .

But get that tractor fixed to get to the beach.

User

We went to visit my sister who has just purchased a caravan, really impressed with all the facilities and the tractor ride to and from the wonderful beach was great, will definitely be going again

We have visited various Haven parks over the years as both campers and staying in their caravans and have not yet had a bad experience and this stay has been no different. Yes it is a smaller site but it was half the price of others nearby so decided to give it a go and we have not been disappointed. The site is lovely and the facilities are great too. We love the fact it has direct beach access and the dog walk is really great too as our springer Sasha loves being off the lead and it was safe and enclosed so she couldn't go anywhere. I would really recommend this park but if you like the buzz of the bigger sites then this won't be for you and o can imagine that if you came during high season it could get overly busy buy for a wee break during October it has been perfect!

We have our own caravan here and it’s our little bit of heaven. Friendly, lovely views and great facilities!

User

We have just got home after a month of being in our own caravan, our 2nd year here and we love it, friendly staff who are always there to help with a smile, extra special shout out to Colin the security man and Karen on the touring reception desk for finding and saving my phone and touring warden who helped me with my caravan

Food in the pub was always delicious, the entertainment fun-stars are friendly and always full of energy.

We will be returning next year,so untill then..........

This was our 4th visit over a 17 year period and it's lovely to return back to a familiar site, we even had the same table at the club that we have had in the past! The lazy river is a fantastic addition! Staff in all areas of the site were great, good humour shared within the ammusement arcade. Entertainment was good considering it's still out of season. The charity prize bingo for all ages is a wonderful addition too. The caravan we had was furthest away from the club but the sea view was amazing to look at every morning, I wish I had that view every day of every year! reighton sands met our expectations as always and we will be back to visit again in the future. It's just a shame that it's a long drive to get there.

The site is lovely and the facilities are great too. I would really recommend this park. The accommodation is great and staff really friendly, always something do even if it is cold and wet.

User

Love this place. One of the best places in the country for short breaks or even longer.

I've been going here since I was a kid right back to the early 70s and it's always been great for the kids.

My only criticism is that perhaps more seasoned entertainers would be better so that they can possibly help the newbies

User

Just got home from being here, it was amazing will definitely be going again.

Staff are lovly and friendly,

The food is gorgeous. The entertainment is good for kids and adults

Just got back from a fabulous week at Reighton Sands. We went for a prestige caravan and the extra cost was well worth it. Lovely comfy beds, ensuite bathroom and a TV in the bedroom. The weather wasn't amazing but you can't holiday in the UK and expect wall to wall sunshine!. Loads of great activities for my two grandchildren ( ages 6 and 8). My grandson loved his outdoor time with Penguin...what a super guy. Great swimming pool.

Full programme of evening entertainment..what is there to complain about? ( well, I did miss my decaff cappuchino.)

If you want a traditional seaside holiday for your family, this is it. Super staff, good security.

Well done, Reighton Sands. See you next year.

Just back from another fantastic week. The best caravan we’ve had so far, and it was spotlessly clean. I must admit I’m chuckling reading reviews moaning about the weather... admittedly, the mist was the worst we’ve ever seen it, but that’s what you get for being by the sea! Staff coped admirably with the half term rush. The wait for food in the Hawkswood was lengthy, but quality was excellent, and it was half term week, so to be expected. I just wish parents would supervise their children in the outside play area. Nevertheless, an excellent week by the sea (I think... we couldn’t always see it), and we’ve booked again for next May. Just one plea, Haven... PLEASE sort out your WiFi! It’s all very well plugging your ‘what’s on’ app, but it’s impossible to use it where there’s no 4g signal, and no WiFi.

User

Had a lovely 4 day holiday and just got home today very friendly staff and had a caravan with a lovely sea view which was nice to wake up to in the mornings, the weather wasnt upto much apart from yesterday but for a small park the entertainment makes up for it and will be booking my next holiday with reighton sands again for next year

User

Fantastic place, toilets shower blocks very clean. Friendly staff and fellow caravaners would recommend to everyone. Entertainment and restaurants is excellent. We were late arriving on Friday and the staff waited until we arrived to give us our packs.

User

Fantastic place to spend your holidays. Beautiful site with wonderful views. Beach access to an idilic part of the east coast. Friendly staff and great food make this an ideal destination.

We unfortunately had a our usual luck of a wet and cold week. The slope on the caravan pitch was not inconsiderable, but each was provided with breeze blocks to place under the corner steadies- left the caravan mover drive wheels engaged on the tyres as a precaution though. We were pitched next to the children’s play area but owing to the weather there weren’t tribes of screaming kids storming around all day . Overall the facilities are good, and the restaurant and bar staff were outstanding in their attitudes- definite gold star there.

Plenty of places to visit in the close vicinity, which offset the weather a bit- although the fog was persistent for sightseeing- not a chance of spotting Dracula at Whitby Abbey , and not being able to see how far down the drop was on Scarborough Castle. York is always worth a visit too.

The shower block had underfloor heating which was useful too. The WiFi was very limited for the free daily data usage, so no streaming, but can be upgraded for £5 per day..

One very pleased family member was our puppy, as it was considered a little cool to spend the night in the awning, she had her bed in the van, and at three each morning she ensured that I was still there for a little cuddle before finally retiring to her secret hidey hole bedroom.

Overall I think that this site is not the same as a caravan club site (cheaper though), but it provides a different offering, but I’d certainly consider a return visit but would want to prepay for the optional fine weather next time...

User

Had a good time the week I was there, caravan was lovely, only negative thing is there's not a lot for the kids to do except for the arcades and entertainment in complex and the park at back of restaurant and the prices at the restaurant are very high. Will be sticking to Blue Dolphin or Primrose Valley next time.

User

Been here every year for 5 yrs n loved it every time until this visit. Most staff are ignorant and rude, and the older visiting people think they own the place n turn up their noses n whisper about kids running around playing in the PLAY AREAS!! Never Again!!!! I have 2 autistic boys and have seen other autistic children around the park and no consideration is given to these kids at all. Some of the people who are here are just plain horrible n if we were at home.... They would be told sharpish. Like I said the previous 4 yrs I'd rate here as high as possible, but this year I'm sorry but the attitude n snobbery around place is infuriating. Guess that's what we get for paying extra for a bigger caravan. You get put with the snobs who've forgot that children run around excited when on holiday. Horrible, horrible small minded, uneducated little snobs!!!!!

After a visit In July 2017 with family we fell in love with Haven Reighton Sands!! We had paid for a prestige upgrade and were allocated the silverwoods C24 perfect in every way, modern, clean, sea view, balcony. After such a fabulous break we decided to rebook for October half term. We thought we’ll pay for upgrade again but we have been hugely let down and left very disappointed. The comparison is huge and snags reported first day and again 2nd only the shower hose fixed to date from this list; cobwebs, thick dust and grease extractor hood, rusty radiators, no mattress protector on beds just a fitted sheet, no hoover or long handled sweeping brushes, hole in curtain on bedroom with light bright in as curtain poles set too far off wall, curtain pole end missing, stains on kitchen blind, heating booster not working, only 1 baking tray and 1 Pyrex, mould/mildew On shower, toilet hinges not cleaned in a while!! I have done majority of cleaning and bleaching but left several jobs reported to be corrected. I appreciate the age of caravans vary hence should the standards this is by no means a silver rating never mind prestige! If it wasn’t for the kids I would be tempted to go home and never return very disappointed #HavenReightonSands #Haven #HavenDisapointing #ReightonSandsHaven

I have to firstly give a 5* to the caravan it’s self and the condition as it was beautiful.

My 1* is because we was told when we paid that there was a bar and chippy on site we was then told that as three adults we had to pay for a pass to access the chippy and the bar, while I understand there would be a pass for the pool and for the kids side I was disgusted to be told we couldn’t just pop in and order chippy to take to the caravan and to be sent driving round the middle of no where to search for a bit of food, I was also disappointed to find the weather over Reighton sands was disgusting due to it being in a ravine and on trips to filey, Bridlington and Scarborough I found the weather there to be decent. My first time in a caravan park will sadly be my last.
