Removing a few shrubs Dodging the rain this week to complete the 1st of many external decorating jobs booked in for this year. This was a pretty simple job which was to prepare generally sad looking brickwork which was flaking & Blistering in many places. Painting with Dulux weathershield brilliant white. Soffits and fascia's and front door and frame needing a bit of TLC too and finishing off with Dulux black weathershield

Saturday morning Small job to take up carpet and install sheet vinyl.

Starting the week off nice and easy with a kitchen rip out ready for the plumber and electrician tomorrow. Then the fun begins fitting an Argos kitchen !.😀First for me but hey its cheap and cheerful . Have to see what the end result is!

Busy end to last week plastering the walls in this Spacious lounge in Newbury. Walls originally had chip paper on. Nightmare!!!!!.😭 The walls where nasty and with chip paper on plasterboard walls a pain in the backside to get off. After a lot of steaming and a lot of sweat finally all the paper was gone. Boxing in the radiator pipes and plastering the walls finally the room looks great again with smooth walls ready to paint.... Skirting on and architrave finishing this job up on time.

This weeks work was to remove a single door and lining. Remove radiator cut opening and install new double doors. Finishing off with painting both doors, lining, and fitting new handles. Surprisingly making the lounge and hallway brighter with this simple renovation.

Last weeks work all done! and looking pukka after all the horrible weather we had. Sometimes what starts out to be a simple task like taking up and relaying the a few loose slabs and repointing them ended up at the clients request to take all of them and re bed them on a solid bed of Cement. Finally jointed up with Marshalls Weather point 365.

Monday morning got off to a flying start will the removal of all the rotten decking and the somewhat leaning fence. Cracking on into Tuesday with the scalping's down fence erected with concrete posts and lap fence panels and concrete gravel boards. Wednesday cracked on with the patio and gravel perimeter finishing off with easy joint resin grouting. tidying up and another job wrapped up and a long weekend ahead happy days.

Latest bathroom renovation we completed with large white tiles and mosaic borders, floor tiles and underfloor heating to keep the toes warm. New lighting and extractor fan completed with new thermostatic shower and towel radiator. Thanks to Hutt electrical services and DLT Plumbing for your assistance in pushing the job on and completing on time.

Busy start to the week with a kitchen installation. Straight forward and cracking on with it. B and Q Soho handleless kitchen going in still a long way to go but at least the second electrical has gone in and i can see light at the end of the tunnel!

This small project was to remove the pond from a the corner of the garden to a new site in the decking area. From design to installation of the liner right the way to as is now in the picture. A few months on and it's nice to finally see the end results with additional planting ,artificial grass and raised veggy beds. Simple design that really pull the eye to take a peek at the fish.

Cracking start to this week's work. To take up lounge and hallway carpet latex floors. At least I can get laying the Novacore ascot Rigid LVT today. Must admit cutting around the door frame which where on squints was no easy task.

Another week has flown by! A week of decorating for me with a few light fitting changes. Mounting a tv on the wall and wallpapering. Changing the colour on a side cabinet. Ending the week in the sunshine to put some rattan garden furniture together.

Early morning call out for me. Mains pipe burst under the sink a simple fix but with major flooding a simple burst pipe can cause so much damage.

Its amazing how in such a short space of time you can dramatically change and improve the bathroom. This bathroom did present some challenges with waste pipe and all the dot dab walls literally coming off the blockwork. What did we Do? Removed the dated bath room suite and all the fixtures. Installing a 1200 mm shower tray and shower screen.... 850 mm vanity unit and new WC. Plastered all the walls, tiling the shower walls and fitting oak canyon light grey LVT flooring. Had some LED down lighters replaced in the ceilings,all the skirting and architraves renewed and gave the walls a bit of colour , fitting all the little bits and pieces such as mirrors,wall units and bathroom.

A bathroom refurbishment completed this week with removal of dated tired wallpaper and rusty old radiator taken out. Sometimes a simple lick of paint on the ceilings, coving, with a splash of colour given with this Laura Ashley wallpaper things are looking good. With the pine boxing given a few coats of undercoat and several coats of Satin wood brightening the room up even more. New Chrome towel rail finishing this refurb off.

Another week flown by with a blink of the eye but at least weathers been kind and the summer is coming. This Decorating work was initially just wallpapering and ripping off and fitting new skirting and architrave. With the laminate flooring looking tired and well worn the customer decided to get me to supply and fit some new before laminate before the skirting went back on which made sense. Some before and after photos to look at.
