We got a warm friendly welcome and a beautifully cooked full English despite turning up 15 minutes before closing time! (Sorry about that). We will most definitely be back soon (a little earlier next time).
Took my mum for lunch today, what a lovely place! Delicious food and lovely chilled atmosphere. We enjoyed talking about the photos of things my mum used to use or see when she was a child My mum luckily does not have dementia but it's so welcoming for all it's definitely worth a visit, even if you just fancy a cuppa. I'll be back
Today was our first visit, and we will definitely go back. A really lovely relaxed atmosphere without any pressure - a perfect way to spend a few hours chatting and catching up. The duck eggs were cooked to perfection and the cakes looked lovely. A definite gem worth searching out.
This place is a hidden gem. Great place for a cuppa and a catch up with an old friend. Really warm people and lovely homemade food as well.
This cafe is a hidden gem.It really is a cafe for the community and loved by the community.
Such a lovely place with wonderful service. After a sweaty walk up to the cafe, we were greeted with raspberry iced water. The salad plate was excellent for this weather and my niece throughly enjoyed her chocolate ice cream milkshake! The young lad helping out was so professional and definitely earned his tip We will be back
Such a little Gem, my mum in law loved it (and so did I) Lovely fresh home cooked food, memories of days gone by, friendly staff . We will definitely back! It’s brilliant that they have activities as well. Rose is looking forward to the “Spring Sing” on the 11th May.

Just taken my dad for lunch for fathers day. Lovely food. Fantastic service and stunning views over the valley. Reasonable prices and good portions. Will definitely be recommending to my friends and will definitely be back again in the near future. Hidden gem of a place which I hope is around for a long time to come.
Great lunch (enormous pot of tea, fab homemade soup and a sandwich) enjoyed by us today in a welcoming, warm and friendly environment. This place is super and the location is a delight - roll on summer when we can also sit outside drinking in the views across the valley.
First time we had been to Remember When Sheffield and I can highly recommend it. Ruth and her mum were very welcoming and attentive. The food was all home made and delicious. My Mum In Law loved all the memorabilia it brought back lots of happy memories.
Exceptional home cooked food that's as delish as it looks.
This place is deserving of more clientele - a hidden gem!

Called in last week, thank you Karen for telling me about this lovely place. We had a great breakfast, with a fabulous view. It was very enjoyable to sit outside with the dogs.
Been for lunch today with a friend. Had super fresh poached ducks egg on toast and it was lovely, a coffee and a natter in this lovely relaxed and friendly little place. We already plan to return soon. A few weeks ago I bought a scone made by Ruth at a school fair which was delicious and how I heard of “Remember When” in the first place. Definitely recommend a visit, such a lovely feel to the place.
Absolutely fantastic afternoon celebrating my grandmas special 80th birthday with an afternoon tea today. Ruth was so kind and helpful. We felt really relaxed and at home. The food was absolutely delicious and the birthday cake which was home-made was out of this world. We can’t wait to return
