Who knew we had this on our doorstep. We will be coming back (although maybe less cycling next time). Although we didn't mind, it's worth noting that there is a charge of £3.50 to park and no parking support for those with disability badges

We visited Rendlesham Forest yesterday. It was a hidden treasure! My husband, our four year old daughter and our dog had a great time exploring the woods. The play equipment was amazing - there was something for all ages. It was nice that there were some information leaflets available even though the main information kiosk was shut. Definitely worth a visit

We love it here 3rd visit.Took 4 kids ages 10-14years and 3 dogs and they loved it even the red walk! Only bad thing is there is only 1 female and 1 male toilet so long queues

User

Walked our dogs with the grandkids on a lovely sunny morning. Shame there weren't more people out and about. The kids loved the play trail and the various excellent equipment and the dogs enjoyed running in the woods. Best place to go to enjoy the outdoors, good parking, picnic tables, various trails and open space for ball games.

This is one off our favourite places to visit with the kiddies! From the open space to picnic & play ball games to the adventure play area we love it all. We do the UFO trail walk & the boys always get excited when we find the UFO! My only niggle is that there only one loo, so on a busy sunny day like Bank Holiday, quite a queue!

User

Thank You John who took us on our Enter the Dark Dark Forest adventure last Saturday. It was amazing! I've never met someone with so much knowledge and my 7 year old son was mesmerised. We all came away learning something new! The event was brilliant and we will be attending again!

Me and kids loved it so much to see and do, my son thought we were going on a bear hunt so done some den building which my son was the bears home, and my ten year old loved the ufo trail and been finding out research all about hopeing to come camping soon as well x

User

Lovely well managed forest plenty to do from den building to forest walks. Plenty of maps available from the center always clean kids and I love it here

I was surprised how lovely the site was and the forest tracks were well maintained and well signed. I didn't mind paying the £3.50 parking charge for the information kiosk, picnic benches, playground and toilets. However just 1 male and 1 female toilet was woefully inadequate. I would have expected more. There were long queues. Other than that, 5stars. I will be back. A very pleasurable visit.

Had a fab day today having a family walk around the UFO Trail. Was our first time visiting but will deffently be returning again. Out 6 year old loved being able to run free too ♡

Great for long walks with the dogs. Small shop had very basic stock. The toilets and showers clean. The site was spotless and well kept.

Would have liked the facility of a hose for rinsing the dogs down after swimming in a very muddy pond but was told it would contaminate the ground so I would have to use a bucket next to the tap which could have had a hose on it!

There was a rave nearby which disturbed us through the night, but this was not the fault of the site. All in all it was a lovely weekend and I would return.

Great camp site, always friendly and welcoming, showers & toilets are always clean and tidy. Plenty of walks and cycles routes for all levels, great play areas for young and old, highly recommended.

User

Geeks that we are, we took the UFO Trail and read out the story on the brochure at each point. It was fun! The trail is well kept. We didn’t see any UFOs that day (hehe) but we enjoyed the beauty of the sun coming through the trees. Lovely day out.

User

Always enjoy coming to the forest. We often come over for a run around and so the boys run off some steam.

First time at the woods , are little jacky love it new smells, we followed part of the 👽 trail & some of the other parts from what we saw we liked . Great day out plenty to do for all ages children play area & dogs walks, only could do with signs to toilets . It started to rain so we had to leave as no rain jacket , definitely go again.

User

A brilliant place to take the children which I have done many times over the years, but like other people have said one male and one female toilet is no where near adequate especially during the busy Summer Holidays. Also the female toilet was disgusting The only thing that lets this place down which is a shame!
