Reblochon is said to be one of the tastiest cheeses of France. It’s made in the mountains of the Haute Savoie from cow’s milk. The name Reblochon derives from the word ‘reblocher’ which literally translated means: ‘to pinch a cow’s udder again’. Smooth and supple, nutty and fruity, this creamy Reblochon works with white Burgundy and can pair equally well with lighter red wines like Pinot Noir.

This award winning salami is a great example of British Charcuterie. Made on a farm in Suffolk using their own pork which has been outdoor bred and finished in open straw barns. Salt, spices, garlic and freshly picked rosemary from their own gardens are added to these fine cuts of pork and then hung to air dry until they are ready to eat. Let’s keep this British and suggest a pairing with a fine glass of English Chapel Down Pinot Noir.

Cambozola is a triple cream, brie-style blue cheese made from pasteurised cow's milk in the German region of Allgäu. The cheese invented in 1900s, is still made in Germany by Kaserei Champignon since 1970s. In English speaking countries, it is often symbolized as blue brie and perfectly pairs with our Californian Blackstone Chardonnay.

Contrary to belief, the holes found in Emmental are not from little mice nibbling bits of the cheese! This Swiss cheese has holes because of the bubbles of carbon dioxide that form inside the cheese as it hardens. This great savoury and mild cheese perfectly pairs with Macon Village Chardonnay.

Dorset Blue Vinney is a traditional blue cheese made near Sturminster Newton in Dorset, England, from skimmed cows' milk. It is a hard, crumbly cheese. "Vinney" is a local Dorset term related to the obsolete word "vinew", which means to become mouldy.

Well what can I say ....... TOP NIGHT! There were 16 of us for a 40th birthday and we had the whole area at the front of Wimborne Renoufs. We had 3 £90 platters and they did not disappoint, they only worked out at £17 pp. We left it to the kitchen to make the choices and they did not dissapoint. I think the only time we went slightly quiet was when we tucked in �. The wine and gin flights were awesome, a great way to try different things. Sorry if we were a tad loud but it shows what an awesome night we had! Thank you so much..... we will be back.

Such a lovely welcome, everything explained beautifully, totally yummy ultimate board and a whole Camembert , impeccable service, and the Romanian Sauvignon Blanc was superb!

Trevor and Sarah have ensured that the amazing selection of wines and charcuterie and cheeses (heaven) are there to tempt you and advise you if you're unsure what best to select. There is a very pretty courtyard garden as well. All in all, a place to keep visiting

Renoufs Wimborne is such a lovely restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The staff are so attentive and look after you from the minute you arrive. The food is absolutely delicious, we had the party board and it was beyond amazing. The drinks list is unbelievable, so much to choose from with the added benefit of a flight selection. Would highly recommend a visit and I can't wait to go back. Its so lovely doing something completely different for an evening meal out.

My husband, daughters and I went this evening. Had the Supreme Board which was a choice of 12 different cheeses and 8 different meats plus pate, pork pie, grapes, olives, stuffed pimentos, crackers and breads. Was amazing to say the very least. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the service was impeccable. Loved every single minute. Well worth a visit.

It was a completely different experience. Nothing from the microwave. Don't thing stuff like that is near the menu. Leave that to Hall and Woodhouse, ha. Seriously great night will go again and will recommend it. �

Having been to a fabulous night at Renoufs Westbourne a while back, I was looking forward to another fun evening at the Wimborne location. The food and wine were just as nice at this locale, and while the atmosphere was more intimate and "quiet" (except for the table of 8 sitting next to us in an otherwise empty restaurant...) there were a few business practices which I found annoyingly disappointing.



1) When the menu states a platter "serves 4" with different cheeses and meats, there should be at least 4 portions of each meat, so one does not have to tear or slice pieces at the table to share evenly.

2) When the waitstaff says, "if there is anything you need like more bread or water, just let me know", and then charges £1.90 for extra slices of baguette and biscuits at the end of the meal, this should be plainly stated or displayed on the menu boards.

3) When a 10% automatic (but optional) gratuity is added to the bill, it should also be plainly displayed on the menu boards.

4) When customers give critical feedback to staff (because we were asked if everything was all right), I would expect the staff to say that they would take our concerns to the management, not just nod politely, process the bill, and leave.
