Rethink Theatre Description
Rethink Theatre is a brand-new Coventry based theatre company, Rethink Theatre company is lead by Lucy Macdonald, a new and upcoming director based in Coventry. With training at Birmingham Rep (RTYDS) and The Young Vic Theatre in London, Lucy has also completed a yearlong apprenticeship with the Community and Education department at the Belgrade theatre. In June 2018, Lucy successfully produced and directed her first one act play ‘Chatroom’ by Enda Walsh, and following the two night sell out run, Lucy decided to created Rethink theatre to continue her practice and work with the people of Coventry, creating and making theatre that matters by challenging our audiences, engaging our participants and inspiring all.
Our aim is to explore ‘difficult’ subjects through drama such as mental health, bullying, drug abuse and social issues that are real and effecting everyday normal people, but that are not talked about enough.

💰We've had lots of questions regarding prices for our sessions starting next month...💰 Your very first session is completely FREE! 😍 (Consider it a 'taster session' to see if you like it) If you decide to continue, there is a weekly fee of £5, that is for 2 hours a week, every Tuesday evening. (We will be taking cash only!)

Rethink is people over the age of 16 (with no upper age limit) and from July we will be devising a brand new peice of theatre ready to perform in 2020. No experience is required, just an open mind and a passion for theatre! Rethink Theatre is offering a unique opportunity for budding actors in and around Coventry.
Director Lucy is looking for people over the age of 16 (no upper age limit) to join Rethink and create a new piece of devised theatre. The group is open to everybody and no experience is required... just an open mind and a passion for theatre.
We will be rehearsing for one night per week and we will ALWAYS be working towards a show.
