I started selling retro consoles and accessories in 2012 and saw a huge demand for all things retro.
I soon spotted a gap in the market for mixing the two things i'm really passionate about, the retro world and art which gave me a chance to be creative and constantly draw new designs (which i love).
so i started making custom show piece consoles .

The consoles started getting lots of positive feedback from friends and family who liked the idea of owning hand finished custom made consoles.

Soon enough I started getting orders, people started buying them on a auction based website and commissioning me to work on there consoles.
In 2013 i wanted to go further a create a brand not just a product.

So in July 2013 retrospective22 was born.

Our goal is to take a look back at classic consoles and try to create unique and limited runs of retro artwork.
