At the Grand apartments we have a set of stone steps in reception. With more and more people receiving deliveries for food the steps kept being damaged on the edges.
We looked at a number of options and had a local metal work shop make stainless steel step edgings. These cost £18.00! per step plus fitting. They actually look great as well, might be a solution if you are suffering similar problems in your building.

When is a door not a door? It was reported to us that someone had built a wall and door inside their apartment. This would not be allowed without permission, and so we had to investigate.
So we tracked down the "offending" apartment and discuss the issue with the owner. It turns out the wall and door are actually blinds pulled down to the floor and a free standing mirror!!
Not everything is what it seems and thank you very much to the person we had to chace about the issue, their assistance really helped and also created a "Whats this" Competition for the office!
