Revolution Putney

We love Revolution Putney, we had a cheeky couple of drinks and some dinner tonight and as always we were well looked after! Devonte was wonderful and made sure we had a great time. Thanks team! �

We have grown up drinking in Revolutions across London, so I was pleased when we moved to Putney that one opened up just down the road! We have been a couple of times and were greeted by the host and shown around the venue as it was quite quiet when we arrived (5pm on a Saturday). The staff were obviously new to the role of waiting/bar staffing however I like how companies train up people with no experience and give them a chance - the ladies who served us were very polite and helpful. We ate on the 2nd floor and the food we had was pretty good considering its affordability and was served within a decent time frame. We returned another time later in the evening and it mostly had a good vibe, with good modern music, plenty of seating and decent bar service - however it did get quite rowdy & the bouncers are not the friendliest bunch. Overall a good experience and we will be returning for the launch on the 26th January! :)

I went last night night (Monday) with my mates visiting from Aus. The staff were brilliant. Even though it was quiet (Monday), they were attentive, charming and really upbeat and fun.



Recommend highly.

Looking forward to coming back at the weekend.

I had a small birthday celebration here last week including a three course dinner. The staff were excellent, attentive and friendly at all times. After dinner we all danced downstairs.

The prices were very reasonable. The food was very average but acceptable. The only downside was the music. It was so loud that you couldn’t hear what anyone was saying.

I definitely will go there again.

Fabulous decor , comfortable Bar seats for those of us who like to watch the Mixologist’s at work. Friendly welcoming staff.Set over 2 floors plus a roof terrace. Can’t wait for DJ nights on Friday & Saturday. Best Cocktails in Town ��

Popped in for the first time to watch the England vs. Sweden World Cup match. It was packed as you can expect which made the atmosphere quite electric especially when England scored goals. Food (chicken wings and a trio of fries) was not bad either. The roof terrace is great for the spell of warm weather we've been having.

Far too early to give an assessment : by the looks of it, the venue is promising and I hope it lasts generations - fingers crossed!.

Overpriced and understaffed. Wanted to drink on the roof terrace but couldn't be arsed with having to carry the drinks up 4 flights of stairs every time as there was no one manning the bars on 1st and 2nd floors. £4.80 for a Rekorderlig 330ml 'can'. No crisps. Preferred it when it was a Wetherspoons.

Went a few times, but then found the service a little poor and a little pricey for what you get.

They’ve been open two weeks and already created a horrendous impression. 1. Bar staff are very inattentive; I sat at the bar waiting to get served and was only served when someone actually happened to need a cocktail item at my end without being proactive or looking around (there was no one else at the bar when I arrived so they clearly weren’t busy). 2. After being served drinks and wanting to get food, despite politely waving and trying to make eye contact the staff just stood there having a natter. 3. No possibility of eating at the bar, gave feedback on this and points 1 & 2 and manager seemed completely disinterested. Refuse to eat here as a result and highly unlikely I will come back or recommend this place to others despite being a local resident.

Not normally the type to leave reviews, especially not negative ones but I can’t help but feel disappointed with my last visit to the Putney chain of Revolution. Visited for a friends birthday on the 16th of June between 8-2am, massive booking of about 30 people, hired out the whole of the second floor. Everything was going great (nice drinks, music was great) until a couple of staff, especially the security let it down for us and pretty much ruined our night. My friend whose birthday it was was told she couldn’t play her own music through the speaker even though this was arranged beforehand, so as you can imagine she was upset (no big deal though as we had a fantastic night once the DJ arrived). However the security, honestly the most unprofessional people ever. Was told I was allowed to re-enter at 1am with a few friends as we had the booking as long as we weren’t too long. When we came back we were denied entry and was essentially laughed at by the security who were clearly on some massive ego trip! Would be quite worrying if we left our belongings behind with our friends!Such a shame as I normally have a fantastic time at this chain but I doubt I’ll be returning after such a awful experience with the security. Sort it out Revolution.
