Rh Ecological Services Description
I am an ecology professional with over nine years’ experience managing conservation projects and carrying out ecological surveys.
I have worked in conservation charity and local planning authority roles and had extensive experience as a project ecologist /Ecological Clerk of works on major construction schemes.
I have gained experience of working with clients to assess and mitigate ecological constraints for major rail infrastructure projects.
I have up to date working knowledge of protected species issues and current European and UK planning and environmental legislation. I have experience of working with clients to assess and mitigate ecological constraints for projects, offering a pragmatic project-led approach.
I hold both scientific and roost visitor bat licenses and great crested newt survey licenses from Natural England, Scottish Natural Heritage and Natural Resources Wales.
I am enthusiastic, highly motivated and organisations. I have worked with communities advising on ecological issues and have a experience on dealing with planning applications.

Professional Training:
Bat, otter, badger surveys, water voles surveying and management, botanical surveying, Project Management, birds, GIS, aquatic ecosystems, raptor tracking, reptile surveying, supervision and management.
Membership of professional /conservation bodies:
Associate Member, Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM).
Member of Durham Bat Group, Northumberland Natural History Society, Bat Conservation Trust and Butterfly Conservation
