Update on our training livery Ross. Ross came to us as a troubled/cheeky Irish Draught X Gelderlander standing at 17.3hh! He didn't like to be caught/headcollared , didn't like the farrier or vet, couldn't be hosed down or washed , pain to lead , unrideable , "dangerous" and unpredictable. 4 weeks on... Farrier conquered , hose conquered , catching and leading sorted and now completely rideable ! With a sensitive and careful approach I have trained Ross to see people for the ...better and learn that not everyone is bad. We have used a calm manner and easily corrected his woes . Ross feels and behaves like a different horse , he is so confident and sure of himself. He can now voice command lunge , free-jump amazingly , hack, walk trot and canter under saddle without out exploding and throwing his rider like he had previously done when unsure or frightened. Ross really has turned into the Big Friendly Giant that we all knew he was . Still a few weeks left of training and then his owner can have the horse she has always dreamt about back and boy... is she lucky 🙂!

Iona is now 4 months old , blimey she has grown !!! Gunna have a big mare on my hands when she's mature . Absolutely loving watching her explore the world 💖🌍

Another breaking livery ready to return back to their owner. Bluebelle has been an absolute pleasure to work and deal with. A late starter at 9 years of age and a rocky past, but has now landed on her feet with Tracey . Bluebelle was started correctly confidently and quietly, using natural horsemanship methods , working on building her up so she could be a happy hacker for her owner and her grandchildren. Requests were that she were to be safe , steady and to be ridden bitless. She now confidently schools , hacks out alone and in company , seen traffic and has started some trot work. All in which we delivered in 6 weeks of careful training. Going to miss that beautiful face so much ! Wish you all the best in the future 👌

Really enjoyable few days back from holiday. Training liveries have made lovely progress. Bluebell is now hacking out alone and in company , she's had her first trot ... even Bluebells owner has had a little ride on her too! Super chuffed . To top things off our behavioural training livery Ross, has been excelling over the last few days . Lunging like a pro, leading, picking feet up, touching ears etc all sorted. He even had his first proper ride in 3 years yesterday , as he had decided he would launch all riders that had tried to ride him in the past . Calm , confident and gaining his trust has certainly worked . Keep following and liking posts for more updates !!!

Awesome day!! Bluebelle has her first solo hack and riding away beautifully !! Such a intelligent mare . New behavioural training livery Ross , has settled well, behaving so far, lunging , leading and building his topline ready for riding in a few weeks! D Day tomorrow as he has the dreaded farrier . The lovely Jasmine has a second viewing and going showjumping tomorrow with one of my youngsters 🙂 !!

Real fun day today! 9 horses worked in total 🙂 Early morning session with Joe , followed by a nice gallop/hack with Rio, Minty & Sunny. New training livery DeeDee had her first hack - and was super !!! Followed by a quiet lunge for Troy coming back into work from KS surgery , then started 3yo Millie with some groundwork/progressive lunging for another client and finished the afternoon with Conal having a proper work out on the lunge for his owner . Evening session began with Coby (to be featured this week) jumping first ever parallel jump (95cm) , he flew - so good things to come . To "ease" into the evening , I flew Murphy over a 1.15 spread and a tiger trap (which is part of our portable XC jumps ). Super as always and eager to please ! Gin & Bedtime for me - ready for some more horse antics tomorrow 💪❤️

DeeDee has made a new best friend !! Busy day here , early morning rides , followed by the farrier this afternoon . Poor Luke has to see to 13 horses 👍 Happy Monday 💚

Welcoming our newest training livery, the beautiful DeeDee. 4yo Thoroughbred bay mare owned by Paula Ford. She is staying here at Park Farm for a duration of 4-6weeks to be lightly backed and confidently ridden away. Welcome to my new page, the aim being so that you can follow my progress in my upcoming equestrian career. I'm a 24yo experienced competition rider. I have a lovely string of young horses for this season that will be highlighted on this page along with their stories. I also break young stock, train green horses and re-train horses with behavioural problems. I have competed up to foxhunters BS ,novice-medium dressage, team chased , also 110 Hunter trials and evented UA/BE100 with aims to go up to advanced in the future. she is a very strong rider, offers good advise and follows through on what she says she can do. her horses are lovely all ages :) and she cares for every horse she has her self or in on livery as if they were her own. such a nice girl definately someone to contact if you need a had with something with your horse :)

Taking my mare to Rhiannon was one of the best things I’ve ever done for my mare, really couldn’t fault her work, so happy with everything is does for us!

Rhiannon is a great instructor. She taught my daughter, who had zero experience, how to ride, turn and stop very quickly. Each time she went for a lesson, they'd split the time in half. With half of the lesson in the training ring and the other half an hour on a short 'hack'. My Rachel loved it, the smile on her face would beam out. I found Rhiannon to be the most reasonable with her pricing in the area and was great value for money.

I would definitely recommend Rhiannon if you are looking for a Instructor/Riding school. :)

I've known Rhiannon for many years now. She has proved that deternination and patience pays off . And has passed this on to all she teaches. Her attitude to training the horses is calm and steady. She has helped me regain confidence in handling bigger horses as in the past i had a nasty accident which set me back for many years.. she looks after my horses with care and will be helping me with the rehabilitation of my horse who recently had kissing spine surgery which she helped to diagnose. i look forward to seeing her progress and make it to the top. x

I sent my 4 year old thoroughbred mare to Rhiannon for breaking last month and I couldn’t be happier with the service she provided. When she left me she had been backed and sat on a handful of times and was a nightmare to even touch her feet. Just short of 4 weeks later I had a horse that was working well in 3 paces, hacking on her own like a pro and who stood like a absolute dream for the farrier, picking up her feet is now a total non issue.

Rhiannon was great at keeping me updated as I was only able to visit DeeDee twice in the time she was there, I received pictures and videos everyday along with an in-depth update of what she had been doing that day.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Rhiannon enough, as well as providing a brilliant, professional and friendly service she was also excellent value for money! Worth every penny and more. Highly recommend!

I had my mare liveried with Rhiannon for 18 months. I would often be away with work and would have her on full livery. I really appreciated the sensitive and quiet way Rhiannon handled my horse, who has a tendency for melodrama. When I returned my horse was always soft and supple and sound, proof that she was being ridden well and regularly as she suffers from slight arthritis of the hocks. Also I was grateful that Rhiannon was on site for most of the time, and able to respond quickly if my mare became stressed, and in case of emergency.



Rhiannon is a very competent horse woman, and her care for the horses in her charge is exemplary. She is trustworthy and has an almost boundless energy for the horses, and also for the people on her yard.



If I move back to the area I would not hesitate to return to Park Farm under Rhiannon’s care.



I wish her every success for her business and her competitive career. I look forward to seeing her progress with her horses and watch her business grow.
