We have had a lot of calls recently from customers wanting to have their wheels refurbished before thier vehicle goes back off lease....we are extremely busy at the moment and currently taking bookings for public vehicles for the week beginning 2nd July 2019... With limited places remaining. Please bear this in mind and book in early to avoid dissapointment!!!

Who remembers this amazing matte black Lambourghini Huracan Spyder that came in last year for a change of colour to its alloys.....?? Well, it popped back in this week to go back to black..... A change is as good as a rest and was enjoyed for a while, but sometimes original is best 🖤 we love returning customers and it's an absolute pleasure to be trusted to work on such a special car.

A common question here at Rhino is this:
Why do you have to fully refurbish my diamond cut wheel, it's only the edge that is curbed? Can't you just pop it in the machine and re-cut the face?.... Here's why we dont...
If we just pop it in the machine.. Existing lacquer and paint can chip while the lathe cuts the face.....an example of this is Picture A. This is an apparantly 'refurbished, ready to go out' wheel which has been subjected to just that, in house at a dealership ...in order to save time and money.......
However, it then had to come here to be re-done fully as the resulting finish is so shocking it could not be sent out on the recently sold high end car. With all the tooing and frowing it has therefore cost the dealership twice the price and has taken much longer than having a full Refurb here with us in the first place!! Not so cost effective in the end eh??
Please also remember that specialist diamond cut wheels can only be refurbished a limited amount of times, these ones where touch and go as to whether there was still enough metal for them to be re cut...had we not been able to save them, it would have resulted in the further cost of 2 new wheels.
Picture B is the same wheel after our full refurbishment. A perfect finish for a high end car and one that every salesman and dealership should want for their customers.
Sometimes, trying to save time and money doesn't always result in you saving time and money.

Here are some before and after pictures of a set of 4 Porsche 'cookie cutter' wheels from a 944 model that we had the pleasure of refurbishing last week. Unfortunately there is only one single wheel 'after' picture and a picture of them back on the vehicle, which was taken and sent in to us by the owner as they were collected before we had chance to picture all 4 together!!!! We think You'll agree they look fabulous after their full refurbishment, with a gloss black centre and deep specialist diamond cut rim. One of our talented painters has been experimenting with ombre shadowing to give a unique twist to the usual single colour finish on these alloys which are on display in our reception area..which do you prefer... Black to silver or red to black... 🤔

It's red nose day today🔴 We have loved seeing all the pictures of your little ones dressed up for charity. Sadly we don't have any red noses on display here, but we do have red wheels !!!
Did you know that whatever colour you choose to have your wheels refurbished in they can be finished in a matte, satin or gloss lacquer? This can make all the difference to the appearance of the overall finished result and is a very individual choice!!

This fabulous Hyundai i30N spent a couple of days with us this week having one of its diamond Cut alloys refurbished. What a stunning car!!!
Please bear in mind when choosing where to have your wheels refurbished that a full diamond cut refurbishment or repair on your pride and joys diamond cut alloys is a specialist job that can not generally be done fully, to factory standard, in one day, or up your drive by a smart repairer!!! Although price and time reductions may be tem...pting, you risk permenantly damaging your alloy to the point where it may not be able to be professionally repaired in the future, and this could end up costing you the price of a new wheel.
Here at Rhino, we remove the wheels and tyres from your vehicle, fully strip your wheels and start afresh from bare metal to provide you with the absolute best finish possible. They are then blasted, sanded, primered, painted, re-cut and lacquered all before being re balanced and carefully replaced on your car.
