A host of fantastic professional talent makes up a cast well versed in the magic of pantomime for this year's production of Beauty & the Beast and we thought you might like to meet the very talented actors in our series of 'Meet the Cast' snippets..first up the villainous Gaston is played by dashing Buck Braithwaite who has previously graced the Rhodes' stage as the Prince in both Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs (2017) and Cinderella (2016)

User

Went to see Frank Ifield remembers. Such an enjoyable evening. A lovely venue with very friendly staff. Very relaxing bar area to enjoy a drink while waiting to go into the auditorium. I loved the whole evening

User

Well what can I say another absolutely amazing pantomime It had everything, our group aged from 82 down to 4 years old and every one of the eight of us loved it!! Another amazing baddy Phil, a beautiful princess and fairy, all of the chorus were spot on buttons just fab we are all still leaning and dabbing!!! Loved the prince and and his side kick. Why on earth anyone would go elsewhere when we have this talent in bishops stortford

User

We went to see The Midsummers Nights Dreams. The show was hilarious. The talented cast performed the well scripted play with great gusto and comical timing. My sides were hurting from laughing so much. Would love to see it again. The theatre is very intimate and has a lovely atmosphere. A gem of a place in Bishops Stortford.

User

Took my 3 year old to see Snow White and we absolutely loved it! He was singing along and joining in with the usual panto lingo. Loved all of the songs, the acting, the humour, in fact, I could go on and on.... thank you! Muddles was great too considering he was the understudy. Well done to all! Roll on next year's panto - I'm getting tickets asap. ☺

This is a fabulous intimate venue. The staff are well trained and incredibly helpful. David particularly, helped us enormously. Bar good and lovely to be able to take drinks into the auditorium, even if you had to have plastic glasses.

User

Thank you soooo much to you & all the staff at Rhodes centre was a fantastic performance we are so lucky to have on our doorstep. It has been a smooth process from booking before Xmas with Liz as she was very helpful in finding the right place to sit, today for your help & kindness Allison, Alison, Nicky & the staff in the theatre. Aaron had the best time, laughing, clapping his hands & smiling, its so refreshing to have a positive experience when supporting an adult with severe learning difficulties in a very public place, so hats off to you all!! Several ladies in the audience near to our seats where so kind & positive, making our visit much easier & pleasurable. Please pass on our extreme gratitude & comments to all the staff!

User

My family were at the panto yesterday and I have to say one of the best. All the cast were exceptional in particular Buttons with his lean and dab, Marj was also good, especially her robotic dancing and we all thought Prince Charming was an Orlando bloom lookalike. Well done to everyone and see you next year!

User

My daughter and I went to see 'The Old Lady that Swallowed a Fly' show. We both thoroughly enjoyed it, we were both singing along and doing the actions.! So glad we went along.!

User

Lovely venue, friendly staff, nice theatre, reasonably priced bar.....what’s not to like?

User

Lovely little theatre! Comfortable and modern with no bad seats. Small auditorium so feels very intimate and all tiered seats give a fantastic view of the stage. Parking is limited so arrive early and have a drink in the bar before the show.

User

I went to see forbidden 🚫 nights with my bf/soul sister Rosie at Rhodes arts complex . Lovely theatre. Was served at the bar quickly and with great customer services . Brilliant show would recommend seeing them. Didn’t just give the obvious strippers night. But the showmanship and how much thought they put in there performce made it 100 💯 better then I expected.

User

Great venue, great staff, great location.

User

Despite the car park being gridlocked for 10 minutes we had a fantastic time watching Sally Morgan

User

Went to see Forbidden Nights here last night. It was a great show and a good night out. It was a bit slow to get drinks pre show but during the interval it was a bit quicker. Thought inside the theatre was too hot and I don’t mean the men!! Thought it would have had a better temperature with some air conditioning as it is fairly small inside. However overall we enjoyed our night here.

User

Took my two and a half year old grand daughter to see the Dear Zoo show. She loved it. (And she was absolutely mesmerised by the pantomime at Christmas.) We will be back.

User

Staff and venue lovely 😊 seating very comfortable with lots of leg space.

Disabled access was good with no steps to bar.

Highly recommend this venue.

User

Great gig and the theatre was small and friendly staff were very helpful sound quality was very good
