In our London office today, and it wouldn’t be Rhodes-Wood if it didn’t smell of Sandalo from Santa Maria Novella, just like our shop in Harrogate....simply take the terracotta light bulb ring provided and add several drops of Sandalo ( sandalwood)and place atop a light bulb .... it smells wonderful and so does the corridor and neighbouring offices. For me at least on New Years Eve, it’s time to rest and reflect on the last year, and enjoy a book and a Davidoff 50, Signature cigar, courtesy of lovely customers and lovely friends. Today I dressed for work in tan shoes and grey suit with glasses in horn and a watch with a tan strap . I then remembered it was NYE... I always wear the watch my father left me on NYE, a 1971 Hamilton with a black crocodile strap. I had to change to black shoes and glasses.... it’s just the way I am! A very lovely silk top hat in original condition, complete with its box. Made by Henry Heath of Piccadilly for a shop I remember very well, Ernest Clough of Huddersfield .
