***Free help*** It's a difficult time for us all at the moment and there will be lots of us with bored dogs getting fewer walks than normal and spending much more time at home and in our company. Let's put that time to good use!
Have a young bored puppy at home? Do you need some advice on a training issue thats bothered you for ages, but now you have time to work on it? Want to expand your dogs skills to a more advanced level?
Whatever the problem, I want to support all the ...lovely local dog owners who want help and direction with training throughout this coronavirus crisis, when none of us can attend classes or private sessions.

***Covid-19 Update **** Due to the new measures put in place yesterday, I am forced to postpone all upcoming 1:1 and group appointments between 17th March and 23rd March. I will be in touch with everyone individually over the next two hours. Thank you all for your understanding at what is a very difficult time for all small businesses. Stay safe everyone and follow the most up to date guidance to protect societies vulnerable groups. Best wishes, Steph

***Update*** COVID-19 Advice at 1pm Monday 16th March: current UK government guidance states that you should self isolate if you have a persistent cough or high temperature over 37.8 degrees c. Guidance states that social distancing measure should be adhered to when interacting. As such, I see no reason to cancel 1:1 sessions at present, or classes provided social distancing and hand washing measures are taken. Anyone who feels they are particularly at risk, please let me know at the earliest opportunity before your session and I will happily delay your appointment to a later date at no charge. Everyone booked in will receive a copy of RVCS COVID-19 notice before their appointment. Stay well everyone. Steph :-)

Week 4 of our current block of beginner lessons and everyone is doing brilliantly! Attention, loose lead walking, stay, ignoring distractions and recall are all fantastic. Well done everyone for working so hard! 🐾😀

Great video on breaking down the stages of recall training, whether your dog is a puppy or older. Also demonstrates the value of starting again with a new cue, if you've accidentally soured another.
