Five years ago this very day, 2nd April 2013 at 6:30pm, we opened our doors to welcome our first visitors at Rich Therapies.
Half of the centre was still under construction and we had to use one of the therapy rooms as reception. It took a further four months to get ready for our official launch date in August.

Wow wow wow! Today I've had THE BEST afternoon I've had in a long time. Me and my gorgeous sister have been to the stunning Rich Therapies and been pampered - deluxe foot spa with gel nails, 24 carat gold facial, hand mask, reflexology and Indian head massage! We were made to feel like royalty from the second we stepped into the gorgeous centre. The therapists Jay and Chloe were amazing at pampering us then provided us with a beautiful afternoon tea. I have had a special time with my precious sister and been given loads of lovely treatments. What more could a woman want?? Thank you so so much Rich Therapies. I will definitely be back for more. I've got the bug now!!

If you have problems with spine , injuries or simply in need for massage - this is the place. People are coming from all over UK just for this massage and now I know why . Well the best way to tell you about Rich Therapies is to tell you all about my ivisit there.

Upon entrance we were welcomed by the owner Janet, a softly spoken lady, her aura just whispers relax, just her presence makes you relax instantly. The decor is one you can only dream off, original floors and brick work, made even more relaxing with the soft furnishing. Every object I saw, I heard myself say "oh I like that " Every detail has been attended to, even the toilet roll :) it's definitely a place to relax and have someone take care of you. The first room, the Silvan room; your taken aback by the beauty of the decor, every room just gets better and better and you just instantly fall in love the place. We were given a fluffy robe and fluffy slippers, then we had our first treatment: a foot spa with essential oils (lavender, orange and ylang ylang) it was my first time to have a professional foot spa and I loved every minute, who doesn't love a good foot massage and to top it off a nice glass of bubbly. Then our next treatment was in the Johnathan room, again I love walking into a room I've never seen before and taking in all it's beauty, this is the room we felt most relaxed, the aura in this room is amazing. You feel totally at ease, my friend and I fell asleep several times during the next few treatments, me and my friend had a joint facial with mask, a hand mask and to finish off an Indian head massage and back/leg massage. We had a seaweed face/hand mask, with soft music in the background. We felt like we were in heaven. I had an Indian head massage whilst my friend had the back/leg massage. I can't remember what oils were used on my head but they smelt good enough to eat. I had the best Indian head massage I've had in my life and I have had many. Then we swapped over and I had the back/leg massage, which again was the best massage I've ever had. I've only had 6/7 massages in the past but this was the best by a mile. When the ladies were finished they just let us come to in our own time, nothing was rushed. We robed ourselves and wore our fluffy slippers and we had a light lunch in the Phillip room, again as before you hear your self saying "oh I like that" beautiful furniture in every room. The light lunch was served on a 3 tiered sandwich tray, with real tea (tea leaves) with a vintage teapot (tea always tastes better from a teapot) with vintage teacups and saucers. Again we were not rushed and were told this is your time to catch up with each other. After a great afternoon catching up with my friend, we also found a great new spa place, which I cannot wait to revisit. I am now sat at home feeling very very relaxed, even my voice has softened, this is the feeling I wanted, I wanted to wipe away all my past stresses and feel good, thank you Rich Therapies and your staff you have made mine and my friends day. We will be seeing you soon.

Today I had the best experience at Rich Therapies end to end. Not only was it the best pregnancy massage I have ever had, it was the best massage full stop. I also had a wonderful facial to begin with. I felt so relaxex, I could have stayed for the weekend! � Thank you so much Roanne xxxx

I had my gel nails done today (with a hangover). Jay could see I was suffering so brought me a lavender eye mask and a warning neck cushion whilst she did my feet. A great touch that allowed me to have a brief much needed snooze. They always go the extra mile to make you feel relaxed

I had my first reflexology treatment today and i feel fantastic! With a 4yr old and a 7 week old my body has taken a bit of a battering but as soon as I walked through the door I felt so relaxed and was really pampered X X X thank you X X x

I had an amazing experience during my 24 carat gold facial at Rich Therapies.

It was very easy to find and I was welcomed by Jay and Adelle on arrival, who were lovely.

I was treated to a champagne cocktail as I was left to change into my luxury robe and slippers. I had a skin consultation with Jay, who discussed the health of my skin and its current condition.

My treatment began by being wrapped up in warm towels then a cleanse of my skin to clean it before the gold treatment began.

The room was littered with candles which really helped set the scene for a relaxing evening.

The actual gold treatment was amazing, it felt lovely on my skin and Jay was very calming during the whole treatment. My skin felt very refreshed after the treatment and looked glowing and very healthy.

When the treatment was finished, I was treated to a cup of peppermint tea and some treats and cakes, all served on fine China.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Rich Therapies and couldn't recommend the 24 carat gold facial enough. Rich Therapies is a relaxing retreat that I'm already excited about visiting again!! Xx

Had serious hip impingement problems for several years. Was of the opinion that my only option was hip replacement. In just two sessions Sylvan has me moving better than ever. Couldn't recommend him more.

I was treated to a champagne cocktail as I was left to change into my luxury robe and slippers. I had a skin consultation with Jay, who discussed the health of my skin and its current condition.

My treatment began by being wrapped up in warm towels then a cleanse of my skin to clean it before the gold treatment began.

The room was littered with candles which really helped set the scene for a relaxing evening.

The actual gold treatment was amazing, it felt lovely on my skin and Jay was very calming during the whole treatment. My skin felt very refreshed after the treatment and looked glowing and very healthy.

When the treatment was finished, I was treated to a cup of peppermint tea and some treats and cakes, all served on fine China.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Rich Therapies and couldn't recommend the 24 carat gold facial enough. Rich Therapies is a relaxing retreat that I'm already excited about visiting again!! Xx
