I am currently a Burton Albion writer at the Burton Mail, having joined in April 2017. At the Mail we pride ourselves on bringing Albion fans the highest quality of all the latest and breaking news, analysis and coverage of the Brewers' Sky Bet Championship campaign.

You can find me running the live matchday blog, and bringing fans all the reaction and build-up during a busy season for Burton Albion. Prior to joining Trinity Mirror, I graduated from the University of Derby with a 2. 1 degree in journalism.

Previously, I have written for the United States-based sports website SportsRants.com, covering the National Football League, international soccer and the Premier League. I have had a number of articles with thousands of views published. I have also written regularly for independent Derby County fan app 'The 1884 Group'. The app has had over 5000 downloads with 3000 people using it every week. Also, I have covered Derby County for the dcfcpodcast. uk website and Derbyshire Sport Scene.

Despite a lot of the experience I have gathered alongside studying at university being online or print-based journalism, I also spent a lot of time shadowing BBC Radio Derby broadcast journalists and produced a piece of news journalism that was broadcast on Radio Derby's flagship breakfast show, with my name credited as a reporter.

Alongside this, I have an extensive amount of published work on the Derby Telegraph's website from a period of work experience I spent there. This involved working on the digital football desk, as well as working with the court reporter to produce online and print news items.
