Richard Pearce Hairdressing is a quality hairdressing salon close to Aldwick, Bognor Regis and Chichester, offering superb ladies and mens cutting, hair colouring and all aspects of the very finest hairdressing.
I’ve been helping hairdressing clients look and feel great for thirty fabulous years. For the last twenty years, I’ve managed luxury salons in Chichester and across the south.
Having opened my hair salon in the picturesque village of Aldwick, I’m delighted to offer my brand of classic and latest cut and styling services, along with the very finest hair colouring.
Everyone deserves great service and to be listened to by their hairdresser, regardless of age, style and hairdressing needs. Your hairstyle is your own look and just for you. Be it classic, sophisticated, super-cool, neat and understated or natural and casual, I’m here to give you great hair that suits you and your lifestyle.
As a qualified NVQ hairdressing educator, I have enjoyed many years of training hairdressers to impeccable standards. My regular advanced courses for experienced stylists are designed to help them succeed. I’m passionate about haircare and spend time at hairdressing events, gaining inspiration to bring back to my clients. My qualifications include the highest achievable level in hair colouring.
After a career in Sydney, London’s West End and Oxford, I’ve opted for the West Sussex seaside village life, which I enjoy with my wife, Susan, our family and our Jack Russell, Bailey.
My reputation is based on my hairdressing expertise and a professional, warm and relaxing approach. I look forward to welcoming you to the salon soon.

I did it. Thank you to everyone who supported my cause. I’m still counting in but the figure raised for Dementia Revolution is close on £3500.00 . As a team we raised over three million. This is all going to research to put an end to this vile illness. It hurt a lot but felt incredible and I’m not ashamed to say I shed a tear or two when I crossed the finish. Happy Easter from all of us at the Salon. We are open Good Friday. Closed Saturday, Sunday, and Easter Monday. Open again as normal on Tuesday. Enjoy the sunshine.
It’s just a week and a half now until I take on the challenge of running the London Marathon in Sunday 28th April. After months of training and some very long runs I feel as ready as I can be to pound the streets of London for 26.2 miles and raise as much money as I can for vital research into Dementia and Alzheimer’s . Congratulations to our 1st year Apprentice Zoe for this lovely work yesterday winning first place in the regional styling category at Chichester College yesterday. Zoe goes through to the National final of the 1st year apprentice styling category held in London in May. Well done Zoe. Another rising talent in our salon. We are proud of you.
We run training sessions every Thursday morning from 9am to train our apprentices and improve our younger talent. All fully supervised. If you’d like to be a model and help us train the next generation of hairdressers, Do give us a call. Details below.
Before during and after the salon refurb. We are re opening Tomorrow Tuesday 26 March. We hope you love the new look and level of comfort our lovely customers deserve. All of us are delighted to offer the surroundings and service that reflect the talent and professionalism that we offer. Thankyou to my wonderful team for working so hard today and showing so much excitement while we set the salon back up after it looking like a building site for a week.
The salon looks a bit of a mess at the moment. It’s going to look amazing in seven days time when we reopen.
Our team of hairdressers had a smashing time quite literally today stripping the salon bare. Basins, mirrors the lot. All gone ready for the tradesmen to start work tomorrow transforming the salon. Hairdressers need makeovers too.
Just a little reminder that we are closed from 5pm Saturday 17th to 9am Tuesday 26th of March while we give the salon a makeover. Delighted to say a huge Thankyou to our team at Richard Peace Hairdressing and to our lovely customers who supported our fundraising day last week. We raised £940 for the Alzheimer’s Society adding to my running total of £2024.00 towards research to help put an end to dementia. We are doing cuts and blow drys all day today for donations to the Alzheimer’s Society. Richard is running the London Marathon for this cause. We still have a handful of appointments left today so if you’d like to make a donation for a lovely blow dry or a cut and blow dry, do give us a call . We are here until 6 pm.
We are still taking bookings for our fundraising day on Thursday 21st February. All services on the day will be charged as a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society.
