Thank you for the excellent customer service I received at your store this afternoon with regard to my turntable. It's the fact that you go the extra mile that makes the difference.

Popped in today and got a Yamaha RX-V381 Amp very nice bit of kit for the money and a great addition for my Sony 55" 3D LED. The sound quailty is spot on and as always the staff at richers sounds romford was friendly and very helpfull as they always are, Plus as a VIP member i got £10 off and The £20 6 year warrenty and refund back if you don't use it is a no-brainer. Thanks lads for making me enjoy my movies and music again as my old amp was at least 20 years old now everything is connected via HDMI no more messing with opticals and wires.

PS-Spend the extra bit for a decent HDMI (avoid the cheap ebay ones) i got a QED fast speed one for £29 and the picture quality and sound is amazing......

Years ago I always relied on Richer Sounds for solid advice and great value. Not so now, had an instance a couple of months ago with this outlet, and today ringing them at 11:34 before they opened, leaving all details for information leading to a sale, they could not be bothered to ring back, or leave a message, something to be said about getting to big for your boots I think. Shame but this was a great company, but Romford shop seem to be a bit on the " we do as we like F.U." side.

I purchased a 65" Smart TV and within a few months it developed a fault. I asked for an exchange but it appears Richer Sounds have a policy that after 28 days of purchase, should your TV become faulty, you are referred to the manufacturer in my case Samsung. It has now been 6 weeks and and I still have a faulty TV. I have had a Samsung repair centre out to repair twice now, replaced the screen on the 2nd visit and managed to chip the glass on the new screen. I have complained to Richer Sounds, Smart Service Solutions and Samsung now. Richer Sounds have shown no interest what so ever, Samsung also don't appear to care and the repair centre now haven't a replacement screen. So, 6 weeks into my warranty claim (that was within months of buying the TV). I now have the prospect of being stuck with a Samsung 65" Smart TV, less than 12 months old, repaired twice! No apology from Samsung, no support from Richer Sounds and the repair centre don't want to return. I have complained in writing to Richer Sounds Head Office and Samsung. Be warned. Richer Sounds will not do anything for you after 28 days, that's their warranty with you. The manufacturers warranty, well Samsungs, appears to be just as worthless. I have kept a daily diary of what I have and still am being put through and will take this matter further. This is perhaps why retail shops are closing down each day, poor customer service.
