Richie Phillips Motion Design

I'm a freelance motion graphics and 2D animator with five years freelancing and business experience. Originally from the North East from a small town in County Durham named Chester-le-Street. I moved to Leicester for University and completed my Media Production degree. Due to the credit crunch the creative job market was at an all time low I did not cut my teeth the usual way, working within a creative agency as a junior or in an internship. I instead decided to set myself up and tackle the creative industry myself. Within three months I had a deal with Sports Tonight Live creating motion graphic introductions to their sports shows. This lead to working on projects televised on channels such as Sky Sports, Discovery Channel and Channel 4. Between these private projects I've gained experience working under art directors at various agencies and integrating myself with different teams of creatives. As well as my experience I bring enthusiasm, resourcefulness and a relentless North East work ethic. Software: After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, Element 3D and Trapcode Particular.
