We loved our food.. and the wine was a good choice .. although I say it myself..,. also great service.. friendly and helpful.. pleasantly surprised with the bill... we will return.. �

We came all the way from Australia and were skeptical about whether this experience would be too touristy. But no....service was great, staff were professional and friendly. Seafood was amazing!!! Thank you for a great experience. Have been watching Rick Stein’s TV shows for years so we’re so pleased it was such a great experience.

Salt and pepper prawns and sea bass,fantastic , Vietnamese chicken salad and fish cakes ,fantastic too, great staff ,very friendly and great atmosphere

Not a big restaurant so would definitely recommend booking especially during holidays and weekends.



Food and service were fantastic. Staff were very accommodating offering to swap a the sauce on one of our dishes if our son did not like the original.

Lunch yesterday was fab hake laksa followed by cod curry ! Hubby had squid followed by salt and pepper prawns all really tasty. Washed down with some wine delightful ! We had a good little corner table tucked away near the servery and the staff were so attentive and helpful despite the fact that they were really busy even on the last day of October!!

Lovely lunch booked at short notice. Spotlessly clean, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Food delicious - did not disappoint.

Lovely atmosphere, staff attentive and polite! The coffee with truffles was delicious and my husband had the scone with his which he said was equally as good! 10 out of 10!

I had a surprise Birthday meal at Rick Stein Cafe, Padstow. The ambience was spot on, as was the service and the food was so well chosen. I thoroughly enjoyed my fish cakes, sea bass and sticky toffee pudding - the sauce was heaven. A lovely evening with my husband, daughter and son in law. Wish I could visit for my birthday next year!!!!!

Had an amazing time at the rick steins cafe yesterday... it was our sons 1sr birthday and they did a special unexpected ice cream cake and sang happy birthday to him...

Had a cosy corner table. Wine was lovely and food was delicious and service was great. Could not fault it. Have been a few times now and doesn't disappoint.

First class food with first class service. Loved it from when we first walked through the door to leaving. The Mussels were delicious and the fish cakes were mouthwatering. Will definitely be returning to Padstow and Rick Stein's.

Excellent food, all delicious and such good service. Celebrated a birthday here and I took a cake in which they happily displayed beautifully on a slate plate with white chocolate writing saying Happy Birthday- such a nice touch.

Beautiful food friendly and amazing staff portion sizes are brilliant would recommend to try the food here �

Amazing food and excellent service - booked months ago for my husbands 50th Birthday treat while we are visiting Cornwall. They gave us the best table in the house and we even had a candle in his pudding - I recommend the Sea Bass - all in all an wonderful meal for a very reasonable price.
