We have been asked a lot about the 30 hours. We are not doing termly because it's too hard for staffing so in reality you get 23 hours per week free childcare. These can be booked as any session that we offer.

Making the most of our outdoor resources 😊

Today at Ridgemount Cottage Nursery School we have been very lucky. One of our children's daddy's won the Brockworth Cheeseroll! He was kind enough to bring the cheese in to nursery. Our children have had a fantastic day learning about our amazing traditions and even taking part! :)

At Ridgemount Cottage Nursery School, from September 2017, we will be implementing the 30 hours funding, if you are eligible for the funding, the hours can be used in any of four ways:
A full day 8am-6pm A school day 8:30am-3:30pm A short school day 9:30am-2:30pm... A morning 8am -1pm An afternoon 1pm-6pm
Extra hours are available to suit your needs for an additional fee. Please call to arrange a viewing or come and visit us any day between 9.30am and 10.30am or 1pm to 2.30pm for further details.

Ridgemount is a lovely nursery the staff are brill always so friendly they always are so caring & always there to listen , my grandson went there & came on so well & now my little girl is there & I have to say she has done amazing with so much input gone into her time there we are very happy thank you all you do a amazing job ;0)) x

My 3 year old son has been at Ridgemount for 8 months, starting in toddlers and recently moved to preschool. He loves Ridgemount so much and has made lots of friends! The staff are all amazing too, he has learnt so much since joining! My eldest also joins him in the school holidays, which makes my life so much easier knowing they're together having fun whilst my husband and I need to work! Couldn't ask for better care! X

I absolutely love Ridgemount cottage! I did a lot of looking around for my daughter and finally found this nursery which I would highly recommend to anyone. All the girls are amazing and so helpful, understanding and caring

I absolutely LOVE ridgemount cottage. My first son started there 4 years ago, my second son started 1.5 years ago and my third son is there now and started last september. All 3 of them LOVED it there, i love how the staff are so friendly and take the time to get to know your children and really care for them and its not just a job. The staff take the time to get to know you as a parent and really put your mind at ease. I love that they have topics they learn about and that the children love coming home to tell you what they have learnt that day. Jacob is always talking about certain teachers and always wanta to go to school every day.

Great nursery!! My son is 2 nearly 3 and has pretty much always been with me or a childminder so going to nursery has been a big thing for him. The staff have been amazing with him there all so lovely, he's settling in really well, I love that it's like a little family, and all the staff know each and ever child's names which for me shows that they care. When looking for a nursery that's one thing I looked out for! Definitely recommend sending your child here! �

Fantastic nursery. Jack loves loves loves coming to you. The staff are great with the kids. Jack always has loads of fun stories to tell when he comes home. Very much recommended.

Brilliant!!! I was looking for a nursery with more flexible hours, and I was so glad to find Ridgemount Cottage!!! My daughter is very happy there, and the staff are so helpful and caring. There are very good hours options, so a lot easier to tailor around working parents, and they genuinely trying to help out and accommodate parents (which you never get from other nurseries!!!) I was recommended the nursery by one of the mums at school, and now would definitely recommend it myself!!!! Thanks to all the staff who make my child and me very HAPPY!
