Ridgeway Research is a global veterinary Contract Research Organisation, CRO, based in the UK, specialising in livestock studies for veterinary research and development.

We carry out studies on vaccines, antimicrobials, pharmaceuticals and parasiticides. We help define product formulation or safe dosage for pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicity and residue studies. Our parasite diagnostics laboratory runs tests for worm egg counts, ectoparasites and endoparasites. We have a Biosafety Level 2 Containment Facility.

Ridgeway Research are Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) accredited and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliant.

Ridgeway Research is part of the Ridgeway group. Established in 1985, the group develops and supports excellence in science, animal health and farming.

We offer a wide range of studies in livestock species including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, poultry and game birds. We’ve carried out more than 150 studies and count many of the top ten global animal health companies among our clients.

We also provide clinical expert statements, veterinary project management and registration expertise through our affiliated company, Shernacre Enterprise Ltd.

Our sister company, Ridgeway Science, provides product services relating to progesterone in animals. And we work closely with Veterinary Research Management (VRM) Ltd, who offer bespoke veterinary project management.

Our premises include large and flexible animal housing, two laboratories and a biosafety level 2 containment facility.
