Right at Home (RAH) are looking for passionate, positive and kind individuals to provide carers for them in areas around Ealing, Acton, Brentford, Chiswick, Fulha...m, Hammersmith, Isleworth, Hounslow, Heston and Feltham. Therefore if you live in and around these areas and preferably have a car (or have good public transport links) then read further!
What we offer:
Paying an hourly rate starting from £9.00 per hour (including holiday pay) Provide 20p travel allowance per mile (from and to home) Receive 3 days’ full free induction training program and on the job shadowing scheme (suited for both with or without experience) Throughout your career with RAH we provide professional development for our carers including providing certified trainings – free of charge 24 hours On call support Give supervision to ensure the well-being of our carers Flexible working schedule Refer a friend incentive scheme Your duties will involve:
Provide companionship to clients living in isolation. Assist in preparing and making meals Provide personal care to allow clients to maintain their personal hygiene, appearance and physical comfort. To provide assistance with daily living tasks this may include cleaning, shopping, laundry etc. Monitor well-being and reporting concerns through appropriate procedures. Liaising with external professionals to ensure that client's needs are being met e.g., working alongside nurses. Requirements
Full UK driving licence and car would be highly preferable. No experience required Flexible and positive approach to work patterns/ schedules Excellent punctuality and reliability Have the right to work in UK

We were honoured to have an inspirational guest speaker at our brunch with some of our #carers today. He spoke about his experiences from #thebritisharmy being diagnosed with #parkinsonsdisease at young age , how he overcame his challenges and remains an active part of his community. He spoke about Importance of self care with tips and ideas for our carers. Our carers also discussed about their daily challenges and shared their experiences with each other. This formed a st...ronger bond amongst the group. In honour of #carersweek2019 , we provided #brunch and gift vouchers from @hollandandbarrett. We wanted our carers to have some time out of their busy lives. We have had a busy month of May!!!!
Here at Right at Home, we make sure to take care of our carers who are at the core of the service given to vulnerable adults in our communities.
This month we carried out supervisons, team meetings and provided trainings to all staff.
