I am an independent speech and language therapist who provides assessment & therapy for children and young adults and advice & training for parents, carers, and professionals. I work within the child's home, clinics and schools.

What's my experience?
I have over 10 years' experience of treating children and diagnosing speech, language and communication disorders. I have worked with a number of different service provider, including the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust and Derby Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust (Speech and Language Therapy Services). I have provided specialist support in school for children with autism. I also have a degree in Human Communication and a diploma in Nursery Nursing.

How can I help?
I provide a personal service tailored to the speech, language and communication needs of the child and young adult. Whether it is an assessment or therapy sessions, I always listen to the concerns raised by, and work closely with, parents, guardians and professionals in order to firstly diagnose and then improve the child or young adults' speech, language and communication skills. Of course, all my therapy activities are motivating and full of fun for the children I work with. . . (and sometimes the adults enjoy them too! )
