The River Hamble is a major centre for all types of recreational boating, home to thousands of sailing yachts and motorboats.

The River Hamble Harbour Authority is managed by Hampshire County Council. We manage the River for the benefit of all its users, and to provide the following services and facilities: Saftey, Environmental protection, Navigation marks and lights, Moorings management, Event monitoring, Visitors and Information and Education
