Fabulous food and excellent service, lovely views over the valley, quiet and cosy. It has its own pool available to all guests and customers. Definitely the best place to eat in the valley.
Friendly staff in an old style hotel. Good bar meals and restaurant. Rooms very comfortable if a little dated. Nice location on the edge of a small country town.
Great place in Lovely village.The staff are really nice. Had a great stay. Remember it's a three star place, would stay again. Lovely views from our room and so cosy and warm,very relaxing.
Not a lot of vegetarian or vegan and choice on the menu but what I had was very good.
Came here just for a swim and some lunch, pool wasn't the most amazing pool ever but a pool is better than no pool in most cases. Kids loved the pool regardless.
Staff were amazing and helpful, lawn/garden was lovely and the scenery around was beautiful.
Good location, close to Bellingham village centre. The room was clean, reasonably sized, and had a nice view to the lawns; plenty coffee & tea were supplied together with two bottles of mineral water.
The swimming pool was rather small and is in need of a renovation.
The breakfast was good and the waitress pleasantly mannered.
I would have given the hotel a five star rating if it was not for the minor kerfuffle I had when checking out - despite the confirmation from the receptionist at the time of my check-in that breakfast was included, the receptionist who dealt with my check-out insisted that I have to pay extra for the breakfast and tried to charge me for it. In the end I wasn't charged for it but not a pleasant experience nevertheless! As someone else also mentioned, I think the place could benefit from better staff training...

Had an evening meal in the bar, service was good and the waiter was very friendly. Ordered the pulled pork burger and was absolutely amazing and the service was prompt too. Would definitely go back
Have stayed here many times. The location is beautiful, situated along the river north tyne. always enjoyed my time here.
