The Riviera Lodge is a stylish small hotel in Central Torquay offering a pool, hot tub spa, licenced bar & restaurant

Built in 1894 as a holiday villa for a wealthy Victoria merchant, the building was converted in to a hotel just after the Second World War. In 2007 the hotel was extensively refurbished to provide the standard of accommodation and service expected by the discerning traveller of today.

Three levels of En-Suite accommodation are offered to cater for every requirement Standard, Premium and Contemporary Styled Open Plan Suites. All tariffs include an exceptional breakfast, freshly cooked to your order. In addition the hotel offers a light lunch menu, an evening restaurant service, a well-stocked bar & cocktail lounge as well as a heated outdoor swimming pool set in secluded gardens.

With free parking and located just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, harbour and local shops, restaurants and bars, the hotel is a perfect base for exploring what The English Riviera’ has to offer. To help you relax, we operate a ‘No Children Policy’ allowing guests to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings without the ‘distractions’ sometimes associated with seaside hotels.
