Went September 1st--8th 2018

Reception staff cheerful and helpful. Caravan clean, modern, comfy and spacious. Park was easy to get around (small park). Pool, arcade, bar etc clean and awsome!

Always minimum of 2 lifeguards while we were there, checked all young children if they could swim, or with parents etc.

The entertainment was faultless, the team was very entertaining and very understanding with my special son.

Beach within 5 minutes walk down a gentle slope. Couple of other pubs close by. Local shop 10 yards across road from park. On site fish shop.

'Bouncers' patrolled bar area on an evening so no 'loud' kids etc.

Couldn't fault the park or staff one but. Awsome stay

We thankfully stumbled upon this Haven site by accident when we was looking for a beach when we stayed at the Premier Inn in Hayle for a long weekend about 4 years ago as we had never been to Cornwall before.

As soon as we got home we booked two weeks for the following year at Riviere Sands.

And ever since our first two week visit to Riviere Sands we have continued to return each year.

Everyone on the site is friendly and helpful from check in, maintenance, cleaners, security, lifeguards right down to the staff running the shop.

The kids even had the bar staff doing the floss and the jellyfish dance!!

Nathan does a brilliant job with getting in some pretty good acts (Our Favorite was the groovy UV show) and with the late evening entertainment such as various quizzes and karaoke. We did miss Dewi this year!

The views out over towards St Ives are breathtaking, Miles of clean sandy beach as far as the eye can see all within a couple of minutes walk. Or if you are unable to walk you can use your Haven pass to park in the Bluff Inn for free.

The only thing to mention is if you are a Ceoliac like my wife the on site chip shop doesn't cater for Ceoliacs... But if you look for Becks chip shop they do Gluten free and is only a few minutes drive away.

We stayed in a deluxe grade caravan in September 2017, clean, good space in the caravan and excellent park facilities- pool, games and entertainment. Particularly liked The Bluff Inn pub where you can get lovely meals, right on the fantastic beach in Hayle Towans with play area on the beach for kids with very close proximity to St Ives. I was blown away by it.

We loved it here. Will definitely be back. Beautiful beach. Lovely clean facilities. Really nice caravan. Very helpful staff members.

Just started my holiday here in Riviere Sands , caravan with sea view. I booked several months ago & got an email. Then I got another email saying not long to go when it was nearly holiday time. So my experience has been totally fine . Weather great too . I been lucky . The only one problem I got was the central heating not working well although not needed during the day , it’s still a bit chilly at night !

Just arrived back staying there mon to Friday caravan was clean comfortable and good staff where friendly from reception to bar staff had a meal at the bluff inn which was very good but could do with a more interesting menu.

We went last year and the evening entertainment was not good this year drastic change all evening entertainment was first class.

Lovely site great views all in all cannot fault

It was a fantastic holiday all round the beach was clean and tidy � and there was some lifeguards on the beach � and kids are safe and good pub on the beach almost they were very kind and helpful for people in a wheelchair like myself and most importantly the site and club was great. And clean and tidy the only problem was getting help to open the door for wheelchair and pushchair that’s all it was very clean and tidy and stay polite and kind We are going back this year so that says it all really only thing I would of liked a disabled toilet closer to the beach � that’s all xxxxxx upton family

Enjoyed the park very much found it well maintained and very clean we stayed in a prestige caravan with a beautiful sea view have previously stayed at Perran Sands but prefered it here as the entertainment was better and it's much nearer to get to places that we visited. Will definitely come here again in the near future.

Came here last year but stayed in a villa on the sea front but thought we would try a caravan this year. Loved it!! I knew it wouldn’t be a let down and it wasn’t. Lovely view to St Ives of a night when it’s all lit up. The bluff inn being so close is amazing service from everyone on the camp was brilliant from the security guard of a night saying hello! I cannot fault this site at all. Booked next year to go Perran Sands another haven site cannot wait now to go. Thank you!! �

Came here for the October half term with the kids and even though the weather has not been the best it's a lovely place to go, the views are stunning :-) and the accommodation was clean and spotless would definitely recommend

Book this holiday with the sun new paper, the staff was helpful and the caravan was clean. The area was lovely and we will be looking to go back at some point.

Absolutely beautiful beach and pub, The Bluff Inn, definitely recommend this place.

Very clean, friendly staff, entertainment was fit for all ages, lovely short break for me and my husband for our anniversary will definitely go back �

The parks itself is lovely, close to the beach, quite, clean and well laid out. The kids entertainment is very good and the children loved participating with the Seaside Squad. This was our 2nd visit to the park and we will definitely come back again....😀 The only drawback hence the 4stars is the pool... it needs something more than just a boring pool.... come on Haven get a bit creative... and create something more exciting to keep the kids busy when it’s to cold or wet for the beach.

It is a fairly small camp, with fantastic views and wonderful beach.

However remember you dont all get the view,but are not far from it.

Holiday park is good, beach is lush! However when it comes to the food I have found that only two members of staff working in the fish and chip shop called cooks. This is inadequate. You need at least three. One to take orders and the other two to serve the food out. Especially when it's busy. I feel sorry for the staff! *edit* So on our last night I have to say that members of your staff are a credit to your team! Especially Danny. A child with autism was really struggling and your staff member helped to calm the child and ensure they got back safely. As an autism parent myself i was very impressed with the way he handled the situation.

I love the area and come back every year although not always to this site. I returned yesterday (Wednesday) but should have been tomorrow (Friday). Reason being my accommodation was way to small even though it was a 6 berth and there was only 3 of us there; myself and two sons. My eldest is over 6 foot and my toddler has autism, the amount of space was not adequate for my little one. I enquired on the second day about changing caravans, they had 2 available and wanted an extra £600 off of me of which I simply could not afford so these remained empty which I could not understand as to why, even if they offered it me as a free upgrade or a discounted price. They just did not seem interested in our needs. I think when we come again this year it will be to St Ives Bay holiday park around 2 miles away, it is a lot cheaper and caravans are nicer. I only came to Riviere Sands for the entertainment for the little one. I had problems with accommodation last time I came as my caravan was not up to much, I paid a lot more than the time before but had a worse caravan!!
