You deserve so much more... 5 just isn't enough... from the lovely welcome on arrival to the bar staff.. the fantastic team of waiters and waitresses... everything we could possibly need had been taken under consideration and catered for..... nobody could want or expect better service delivery.....meal was beautifully cooked and served so promptly.. I am in awe at the way you served meals to so many people with such efficiency... It would be impossible to single out any individual as all of you were absolutely fabulous!!! However I would like to mention one little incident I observed when ordering drinks at the bar...a rather rude lady (for want of a better description) was berating the young man behind the bar complaining she had been served an incorrect drink.... he politely pointed out it was the correct drink showing her the bottle... but she continued to challenge him finishing with a retort that it was obviously an inferior brand.... Throughout the whole episode the young man remained calm polite and was most definitely a credit to himself and your organisation.... we came to celebrate my aunts 83rd birthday.... both she and my 85 year old aunt had a wonderful time and we look forward to returning at a later date. Thank you to everyone.... you are all stars!!!!!

What a wonderful time we all had yesterday at our W I Christmas party , excellent service with very friendly staff, the food was excellent , and the entertainment from the Houghton Weavers was really good, very enjoyable , they had everyone singing and having a good time . Would certainly go again , well done to all your staff they went above and beyond to make sure 3veryone was happy xx

Went to the New Years Eve party here with some friends, the buffet was fantastic & decorations brilliant, was like a winter wonderland. Had a really good time.

We love rivington barn. We have been there for a couple of times for Christmas doo's but this was our first new years eve and it was fantastic. X

We had our works Xmas do here, and for me the best we’ve ever had. The decorations inside and out were beautiful, the buffet food was just superb, great to have a live band to dance to, and nice we could go outside every now and then to cool down. No queues for the toilets or the bar and all ran so smoothly. Well done all!

We had our beautiful wedding at the barn on Saturday 16/6/18... There’s not enough praise in the world for this beautiful wedding venue.... Our wedding day was like a fairytale come true, Everything went smoothly & the staff where amazing on the day and on the run up to the wedding, Massive thank you to Rachel & Anna for the organisation for our wedding, We literally can’t wait to come back on our first wedding anniversary. Much love to you all x

We attended a wedding reception here yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. Such a beautiful place.



Me and my son are also vegan and usually struggle when out with options, but we were so well looked after yesterday and quite honestly ate the best vegan meal that I have ever tasted. Absolutely delicious and the lady who served our meal was absolutely amazing. Fantastic service, down to every last detail and made us feel so safe in knowing that she had considered every aspect and planned a delicious and filling meal for us.



I wish I lived closer so we could come back for more.

My niece held her wedding reception at Rivington Hall Barn recently and I wanted to say how impressed I was with this lovely venue. I am a wedding florist so have seen hundreds of wedding venues over the years but I found this one very special, not just because I was family on this occasion but for a number of other reasons. The setting is gorgeous, a woodland space that perfectly suited my neice's autumnal wedding theme. The barn itself is huge but intimate, the fairy lights on the ceilings were just enchanting. As a florist delivering the table flowers I was very impressed by the efficient and friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help me set up. We were blessed with a warm day which meant we could enjoy the delightful decking area outside for the drinks reception (although I have to say I found the outside burners very wow!) And last but not least, I must mention the food supplied for the wedding breakfast which was sublime. Three delicious courses perfectly cooked which for a large number of people is no mean feat. Thanks so much to all the staff at RHB for helping to make this such a wonderful occasion for us :)

Just wanted to post a review to say how much we enjoyed our day with you today. Many of our ladies in the group said it was one of the best Christmas lunches we have had yet. The food was lovely and hot when served, your staff were amazing and polite and I do hope to see you again. I just want to say that Andrew made our visit especially lovely, one of the best staff there, we did have our picture taken with him which I will send to you so you can pass it on to him.

I love it at Rivington Barn. I have worked on a few weddings here and the staff are incredible. Nothing is too much trouble and I am always well looked after.



The grounds are always well kept and make for amazing photos. Cannot rate it highly enough and can't wait to go back!

I love Rivington Hall Barn, it is beautiful and the lights and decorations in the roof are magical. Our community centre has been for the last three years for our Xmas lunch, the food and service is excellent. I am Coeliac and they provided a gluten free lunch for me which was great. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Barn.

I hosted a wedding here yesterday. Very professional and organised. They turned the room around in a blink, and the service during the meal was very efficient, and fluent. Very impressed, with everything. The way the room looked, the staff attitude. Looking forward to working here again! Matthew and the team are credit to you! :)

I don't feel like 5 stars are enough! Can't thank everyone at Rivington hall and barn. From Anna who worked with us to make sure everything was perfect, to all the staff who worked the day. Every single person was so attentive, the food was amazingggg and everyone said the prosecco and wine was lovely too (although I couldn't drink it I'll take their word �) Would never dream of recommending another wedding venue. Thank you all so so much xx

Absolutely amazing venue, people and food! We had the perfect day, with all our guests commenting at the quality of the food and how wonderful the staff were. From the moment we booked everyone at Rivington couldn't have done more for us or been more accommodating, they really did ensure our day was perfect! From the second I arrived I didn't have to worry or think about anything other than enjoying our wedding day because they made it just perfect!! Thank you all so much xx
