Late in the day but many happy returns to our vice chair of fundraising Brian Wilkinson today.
With all the goings on yesterday we forgot to wish our shore crew/ driver volunteer Dave Mills happy Birthday!! Happy belated Birthday Dave.
Early this morning a crew of our dedicated volunteers left Lowestoft to passage relief #RNLIShannon lifeboat 13-12 Cosandra to RNLI Dungeness Lifeboat station. More of our volunteers then departed with station lifeboat 13-02 The Morrell to take her to RNLI all weather lifeboat centre in Poole for maintenance and upgrades. After a good wash and refuel Cosandra was made ready for service. She will be here for a few weeks. As you can see her hull is decorated with RNLI 13-12 made up from the names of the people who contributed to fund her. Photo credits: Brian Wilkinson and Simon Collins
Some photos of last weekend,s Christmas craft fair from our hard working Lifeboat Press Officer Judith Ann Richardson
So we had such a beautiful day for our RNLI Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday (4th)! Great support from everybody and after expenses we raised £864.72p to help the RNLI continue saving lives at sea, so an absolutely enormous THANK YOU to each and everyone of you for making this possible!
This purse was left at the lifeboat station at today's Christmas craft fair. If you are the owner you can collect in from Susan in our @RNLI shop on either Tuesday 12-2pm or Sunday 12-2pm
Reminder: Today 10am to 4pm. Raising funds for RNLI. We are looking forward to seeing you today. Refreshments are available.
Huge congratulations Brian
