Road End Caravan Park

This is a nice quiet site just 2 miles outside Stamford. It's only £5 per person per night and £5 for electric hookup. There are no showers but a very small toilet block suffices if you've got your own facilities. The local village is Great Casterton which is really small but cute. The Crown is just a couple of minutes walk away and is a really nice pub. Burghley House and gardens is just south of Stamford and well worth a visit. We went on a Saturday and it was really busy, maybe better during the week.

Very very basic but cheap!

Tried telephoning the site to book at 6.00pm and then 6.15pm but no one answered the phone and there was no recorded message to leave a message.
