RRRA was officially formed on the 29 May 1987, following a series of meetings by Recovery Operators during 1986 where the conceptional idea of the formation of a Democratic Association was discussed. An Association that is a representative of Recovery Operators and would address industry issues and negotiate with Government, Official bodies, Motoring Organisations on relevant matters.
