What and where is your favourite lake?
When this was a service station for roadchef I used to deliver here with breaks there are still for members of The Old staff still on site
We stayed overnight here and were very pleased with the bright and spacious room, lovely views and friendly reception. Went for a nice walk along the lane at the back although there is no proper access to be able to walk around the lake. Great views across the lake from our room, and dog-friendly, too. Comfortable room.
We stayed at Days Inn here, the views are lovely from room & indeed outside there are even look out points So wether you are popping by for coffee or more it's good spot
Nice view for a well earned break, nice staff just needs a bit of TLC on balconys
Love this services. Nice place to take break.
Love stopping off here everytime i drive down to blackpool its amazing the sites are awesome in any wearther xx
It has the most beautiful scenery to stop for, it is clean and the staff who work there are always cheerful.
Great services. Polite staff in the fuel station. Great views.
Great scenery. It only gets worse, the further down the M6 you travel, so take your brake there. I wasn't disappointed
Great outdoor picnic area, lovely views over the lake. Did not want to leave!
Clean, brill views, smashing mcdonalds, friendly staff, clean toilets, well stocked shop. Good parking.
By far the best and most beautiful services in the British Isles.
Allways a great comfort stop here
Staff and food excellent
Absolutly beautiful view stunning location x
needs a kfc. other than that the machines were good and staff helpful and a laugh in shop
Beautiful place to sit and have a coffee break, great views
Was on a coach trip passing through here and called at the McDonald's. I was disgusted that the staff didn't seem to be very sociable and there was a million flies all hovering around the till area and around food! Absolutely disgusting. This should not be allowed to ruin a good place.
Stayed at hotel for one night on the way down from Glasgow to London. Carpet was filthy with dark black stains. Chair was full of dust. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly. Dirt on the sink which I had to clean myself.Dirt and stains behind the sink. Worst of all the bed linen had not been changed from previous guests.Found dirt and hairs on the sheets. Disgusting. Felt quite sick.
I can only give one star because the staff are nice.
The hotel really horrified me (this was my 3rd visit) usually I accept hotels becoming tired but this time I paid 67.50 and will not return
I have emailed this afternoon about my visit and hopefully if I do hear back then they will reassure me that I won't see it in such bad state again
