We've introduced numerous measures to help stop the spread of coronavirus and support social distancing. This includes queue markers, shield guards and increased contact surface sanitising, to help keep our teams and customers safe.

Our showers, toilets and retail stores are still OPEN, with hot drinks, food and other essentials available. We’ve also doubled free parking to 4 hours and reduced our 24-hour HGV parking rate to £15, to ensure everyone has the chance to take a break. To clarify earlier posts on social media. As a precautionary measure during the current COVID-19 situation, to protect drivers using our sites, we have temporarily closed our shower facilities until midnight on Friday, 27 March 2020, at the latest. This will ensure our cleaning processes and equipment minimise the risk to anyone using our showers.
Until this point, HGV parking at all 30 of our service areas will be free of charge, with drivers able to use all other facilities... that are open, including the toilets, WHSmiths and SPAR.
Roadchef wholeheartedly supports the invaluable work of the HGV community, particularly during this time, and is committed to providing drivers with a place to stop and rest during their vital long journeys.
For vehicles entering one of our sites from 00:01 on Saturday, 28 March 2020, we will be introducing a reduced HGV parking rate of £15/24hour period, while free parking will be doubled from two to four hours. Additionally, from early next week, we will be providing microwaves to heat ready meals and ‘Food to go’ snack ranges, available from our retail outlets, as well as customers’ own food.

Hands up! We're sorry, we misunderstood previous advice from Department for Transport. We're investigating, for your safety, the safe use of shower facilities in preventing the spread of coronavirus. All HGV parking will be FREE from tomorrow until the shower facilities reopen.
For all motorists travelling and needing breaks on the motorway, we can confirm that all Roadchef service areas are still OPEN.
We play a critical safety role on the road network and want to help all motorists to travel safely. Our food services are takeaway only, the retail shelves are well stocked and our car parks are large with plenty of green space to stretch you or your pet's legs away from others. We're cleaning and sanitising our toilets and all contact surfaces regularly and will do all we can to ensure you have a safer onward journey.
