We’ve just been for Saturday breakfast for my other half’s birthday, and have to say it was very, very good. It was quite expensive (for us), but worth every penny. The menu was pretty extensive for breakfast, and unusually a great drinks menu for 10 o’clock in the morning!!!! The service, food quality and environment were faultless. I had probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had - full Scottish, no mushrooms. We are hoping to go for lunch at Christmas time, and thoroughly recommend Roast, it’s worth pushing the boat out. 10/10 and many thanks for a great breakfast.

We held a party here for 150 people last night and the whole event was flawless- amazing food, drink, attentive staff, it was just perfect! Thank you Roast- in particular Nicole the Events Manager! I look forward to dining here again soon!

We have had a BRILLIANT evening at this restaurant for my wifes 50th, not the cheapest but. The service and food was to die for, we would not hesitate in recomending this place to anyone. You got to go.

The food at Roast is not cheap, but it's wonderful and it doesn't let you regret it.

What I have especially to praise is the bar team! Exceptionally well organised and kind and the cocktails are served to perfection (not many bars know how to prepare a good old fashion).

Possibly the best chorizo Scotch Eggs with piccalilli in London! I’d also recommend the hake with clams - and the fabulous French Frost Champagne cocktail.

Fabulous restaurant in Borough Market, food was exceptional as was the wine, from our own vineyard in Chapel Down. From the waiters to the chefs, we were looked after! Throughly recommend this place and will definitely go back.

An excellent experience within Borough market - a place we should all support. Good, varied menu and wonderful wine list. Attentive staff who were eager to make good and sensible suggestions about food and wine. In my view, a destinational venue. Very fortunate to get in without a booking even if it was Tuesday!! It's busy for a reason. As an impromptu part of my lovely wife's 5-day birthday extravaganza, just fabulous.

What can I say about this place except that I and my guests loved it. From the moment I walked into the reception area I was treated amazingly well. In fact all staff were great and answered each question and above all were courteous and friendly.

The food was excellent and very enjoyable - each course was amazing!

We had the 3 course meal with a glass of prosecco for £30 - best deal and fabulous meal
