Went for the first time as just moved to the area. Lovely atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff and the food was gorgeous. The portion sizes were huge and we couldn't eat half of it but it was all delicious. We will definitely be going back.

Well what can I say, Aughton as been waiting for a pub like this for years, well done, love the new transformation, decor is beautiful, we had a beautiful Christmas Dinner cooked by the famous Mike,he as been truly missed, the staff where wonderful, especially James he really looked after us,also the young girl with blue hair, I've forgot her name, Thank you Ian for bringing us a decent place to eat and enjoy.

Was there Saturday with my wife, kids and the in-laws to celebrate fathers day.

We had phoned and reserved a table, it was a typical cosy pub. The staff were friendly and helpful and we were seated in the snug. All our meals were lovely, in fact no one left anything on their plate and everyone had enjoyed their meal. We all had drinks with our meal and found it reasonable priced. I would recommend the Robin Hood and will definitely be going back.

Visited for the wife’s 50th Birthday Tuesday 23rd Jan (6 of us)

3 of us had the steak pie ( excellent as usual home made and plenty of meat )

Other meals were also excellent

Bar staff and waiting staff very polite and friendly - will definitely be back soon

Thought the whole pub was excellently kept

Didn't eat much, but my wife shared a platter and said it was lovely

Beers well priced and staff polite

We stayed in rooms at rear of pub

Very well kept, slightly small but nice

Just missed the breakfast thing that's all

The steak pie is the best I’ve ever had!!

Lovely pub, whether just for a drink or a meal. Good selection of food on the menu, large portions and tasty. Nice decor and friendly staff.

Love this bar ... gin choice gets better all the time & the food is delicious.. we take the dog for a chill or friends for a xmas meal and do not have one complaint... keep up the good work guys

I only live up the road & never come never think about going. Lady works for me recommended Robin Hood so I tried it and was presently suprised. I had the Black & Blue Burger it was delicious my girls ate all there's an my husband enjoyed his cod baked in feta & olives. Definitely make a regular visit more often especially as we can walk there 👍😃

Four friends went for a lunch at the Robin Hood. We found the food fabulous!! - steak pie, Cajun chicken, cottage pie & jacket potato. All dishes were well presented and delicious. As a vegetarian, the bar staff advised me that if I wanted chips they would cook them in a vegetable oil fryer - otherwise they're done in beef fat.

The pub is very comfortable and well set out, the staff excellent and last but not least , the cask ales offered a good choice.

Overall a fabulous experience - will be back!!

Food is always good and reasonably priced with a varied menu. We visit quite a bit with the rest of the family and they accommodate us in the conservatory which is lovely. I highly recommend the Robin Hood Inn.

Excellent food, friendly & caring staff, quality ale's, I shouldn't really be writing this as I'm a local & don't want it to be packed all the time, but try it out & see for yourself, a genuine warm Yorkshire welcome in a well run establishment.

Called in today, no reservation and was seated straight away! Me and the hubby had pie chips and veg and the 2 kids had a small fish and chips, my god that fish was the size of a � absolutely gorgeous homemade food! Will definitely be returning �

Went for Sunday lunch yesterday with the family before going to Socceraid 2018 in Manchester.

Absolutely fantastic such huge portions, in fact, l had a child’s Roast Pork tradional Sunday roast and it was fabulous and extremely tasty.

Well will be going again, very soon, and l recommend a meal of theirs anytime.

Went today with my hubby we had the chicken ham mushroom pie and what we got was chicken ham leek and potato pie it was disgusting, definitely not worth the £27 that included 2 glasses of bottled lemonade... Won't be going back
