It was brilliant, you learn the history of the place and whole brewing process. And the guy who showed us around was brilliant.

I visited with friends from The Netherlands this rainy lunchtime. From the cheery reception by Olivia on our arrival, to the informative and entertaining tour by our excellent guide Graham, and finally to the service in the café/bar afterwards, the experience was most enjoyable and, despite the opinion of a previous reviewer, generally good value for money. My only reservation was the price of food which was somewhat on the steep side.
I would advise intending visitors to check the website for information about parking and booking.

Modern brewery with a great looking visitors' centre. Good food and drink and brewery tours every day.

Great tour mixing the history of brewing at Robinsons with the latest modern production methods. Thanks for the talk Barry!

My first real brewery tour and it was great, we saw all the equipment new and old and found out about the hops that are used in beer. Also great to have the vouchers to try the beers after. The guy who took us on the tour (can't remember his name but he was a older local lad) was very good, very friemdly and took time out after to talk to us about the beers and wasn't a 'beer snob' either. I have already done it but I would definitely consider coming back with a friend

We held our first 'video showcase' event at Robinsons Visitors Centre last week. Everything was excellent, the staff attitude and organisation, the food and drink, the technical support for setting up equipment, and even the price is reasonable. It is a great venue to put on a small business event near to the centre of Stockport.

Visited for the 1st beer festival here and had a great day trying different beers

Decided to take.part in the tour today and it was brilliant. Lived in Stockport all my life but never realised how rich Robinsons were in.history. Tour was informative but also light hearted which made it more "fun". Out tour guide was Barry who knew his stuff and was obviously very passionate about Robinsons and its history, he was brilliant.
Had a meal in the restaurant afterwards which was really nice and the staff were friendly and helpful.
