Robus Energy Description
The business was founded in 2013 by Helen and Peter Blissett. They have over 30 years experience within the domestic and light commercial heating industry. Peter has a technical background, and has specialised in the design and installation of hybrid heating systems for many years. Peter and Helen were importing alternative heating solutions many years before the recent growth in the 'renewables' industry. They have worked hard to source efficient renewable energy products to bring to the UK. Robus Energy has partnered with NBE in Denmark and OPOP in the Czech Republic to provide all MCS accredited installers with the opportunity to offer their customers the best value in quality wood pellet boilers and associated heating products. Due to the more extreme winters of the Scandanavian and central European countries, such systems are commonplace and have been installed for many years. In these countries biomass is an established market, and not considered a new innovation as perhaps it might be in the UK.
The main family of boilers at Robus Energy are Black Star and Biopel, in addition we have the OPOP H4 Eco multi-fuel boiler, which offers a value non MCS alternative to rural heating solutions. We have had great demand for our current range of boilers and we hope to continue this success whilst keeping abreast of new products and innovations in Europe. We regularly meet other European partners of NBE and OPOP. We find it invaluable to hear their stories of the developing markets across other parts of the world. Each market across Europe is different, and the UK usually follows European market trends.
The entire team here at Robus Energy believes that what makes us different, is our dedication to our customers, and the quality of the products and services we deliver. We provide excellent support to all our MCS installation companies, with technical advice constantly on offer, as well as regular free product training days running throughout the year. After the sale of our boilers, we maintain this communication , offering maintenance assistance to all our installers and their customers, the end users. We have such confidence in our products that we offer 2 years parts warranty on our boilers, the first year including labour for boiler related issues. We offer 5 years warranty on the boiler body.
All our boilers have been accredited for the Microgeneration Certification Scheme through HETAS, and are therefore approved for the Renewable Heat Incentive. Only after their stringent checks of all relevant certification and documentation on the products will HETAS add a biomass boiler for the government MCS approved list. With this approval and full MCS certification awarded to the appliances and the extensive government register of approved installers to hand, the end user should have every confidence in choosing a biomass heating system.
