Robyn Atkinson Pet Support is a professional pet training and behaviour service, serving Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Berkshire.

Robyn can assist with behavioural problems of dogs, cats and horses to find an acceptable solution for all involved. Robyn does not use harsh or outdated methods but instead relies on scientific, evidence based techniques to modify behaviour. Understanding the cause of the unwanted behaviour is crucial to treating the problem effectively. Simply treating the symptoms is not going to help in the long run and ignores the likely compromised welfare of the animal.

Robyn is a registered Animal Training Instructor with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC). Robyn is a provisional member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC) and is working towards gaining certification by the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB). This means that Robyn has been deemed to have achieved the required educational standards and is committed to continuing professional development. Robyn must also follow the working guidelines as stated by the APBC and ASAB. Robyn also holds an honours degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Bristol University.

Robyn understands that not everyone wants an impeccably trained pet and your training session will focus on what is really important to you and your pet. Although Robyn will be coaching you on how to train your pet, there are usually no quick fixes with behaviour change and you will be responsible for continuing the training to reach your goals.

If you're looking for training classes, Robyn teaches the nationwide Puppy School course, Ultimate Life Skills course, Dog Club classes and Recall, Loose Lead, Heel Work and Self Control Workshops in Aylesbury and Haddenham. These classes are fun, friendly and full of useful training techniques. Robyn also offers 1-2-1 training and behaviour consultations.

Robyn is fully insured, DBS checked and animal first aid trained. Robyn has over 10 years of experience working with the animals, including rehabilitating and rehoming rescue animals for the RSPCA and Blue Cross.
