By keeping up with training, I'm always learning and keeping up with latest trends, tips and tricks in the lash and brow industry.
Yesterday's topic was patch testing.
Recently, I mean very recently it has come to light that certain lash and glue providers are developing 'no patch test glue', the general rule of thumb has always been, patch test as per manufacturers guide lines and this will keep you in line with your insurance. It seems after much debate, certain brands are ...now saying no patch test is necessary.... this is not every brand but it seems this is really catching on.
The reason for this is, the glue doesn't touch the skin.. and applying 3 lashes in each corner of the eye is not subjecting the client to enough 'fumes' as a full set...
For now I am keen to keep with the team #patchtest
But will be keeping my ear the ground on this one.
