The Road to Run For Your Life roared back into life tonight when we were privileged to watch one of our own film’s main stars Grace Inger pick the perfect time to remind us of what she can do under those bright lights.
Next time we see her it won’t be Chicago, but she will still be American. Well done Grace, you did fantastic and made us proud. We will see you soon!

Since way back in 2015, when our logo was first designed in something of a rushed attempt just because we needed SOMETHING to put out there... we never expected to get quite so attached to it that, nearly four years later we'd still be using the same one.
So when it came to revamping the logo ready for our upcoming feature film and other professional ventures, we didn't want to stray too far from old Henry the Rocking Horse, as people now do recognise that grey horse with th...e red mane as being us.
So, we haven't made wholesale changes. But we have, we hope, given a more professional shine and edge to that original rushed job on Photoshop in the summer of 2015.
As our company has grown and grown, especially with now over 100 people - cast and crew - involved in "Run For Your Life", which is what started all of this off in the first place, we felt now was the time to move forward.
We hope you all like it! And may special thanks be made to Paul Seager for guiding us toward our refreshed image.

Well, we've got two birthday shouts out to get through today! Ellie Hayward, who plays our nasty (most of the time) Lead Bully and Laura Dodd, who is one of the victims of Ellie's bullying!
But behind the scenes and away from the cameras they are great friends. You wouldn't know it when they're in character, though, and that is a testament to their phenomenal acting abilities.

Please join Rocking Horse Studios Ltd in wishing our very own Francesca Williams the very happiest of birthdays.
Fran plays the part of our lead character's poor old Mum, Kristina, in "Run For Your Life". She actually auditioned for the role of Gwen first of all but it was when we saw her act alongside Becky Dunn, as her daughter, Jess, that we knew we'd found the perfect part for her.
... What a lot of people won't know is that Fran is working on something incredibly important in preparation for "Run For Your Life". Not just for her and her character, but for the production as a whole. It's an incredibly sensitive undertaking and Fran is leading the way on it, alongside Gareth Owain David Thomas and a very select team.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!
All of Rocking Horse Studios Ltd would like to wish Steph the very best of birthdays. Steph was cast as Karen the Careworker in October, 2017 as part of our Support Stars campaign for our upcoming feature film, "Run For Your Life".
But Steph's time with us goes back even further than that. She first got in touch, wishing to audition for the role of Anne-Marie Lloyd. But there were two problems. We had already cast Ellie and there was the small factor o...f Steph being a little too old for the part. She then auditioned for the role of Gwen, the College Lecturer. Only this time she was too young for the part, which of course went to Alison.
Finally, once we were ready for Support Stars where we cast seventeen main cast members in forty eight hours we had the perfect part for her. We couldn't imagine anybody else playing the crucial role of Jess' Careworker. Step has even volunteered at a local care facility and spent time working with care staff and service users to help her to understand the role to an even deeper level. That level of professionalism, care and attention is what sets her apart from so many.
Steph has since helped us out on numerous occasions as Hair and Make Up artist, as well as featuring as an actor in a number of our promotional videos for local businesses, including the upcoming one for the Eastern Oswestry Community Centre.

It is our absolute pleasure to wish a happy birthday to one of the most important and influential people, never mind actors, in the history of Rocking Horse Studios Ltd. We simply wouldn't be in business without the years of hard work and dedication that Cia-lana Whittall sacrificed so that a small market town may one day have a filmmaking company that could provide opportunities for local actors.
Usually this is where we would detail her time with the ...company, as is customary for these birthday messages, but there is simply too much to state. Suffice to say that Cia-lana Whittall's greatest quality was not her acting ability, of which she had plenty, but it was her dogged belief and stubborn determination to refuse to concede on a supposedly impossible dream. She simply wouldn't take no for an answer and we are only still in business because of her. It really is that simple.

Rocking Horse Studios is a small but quickly growing video production company which consists of a young, professional and vastly creative team that just doesn't stop pondering our next idea.
