12 years after bursting onto the scene with a bang it seems our original RCM Gobstopper race car certainly has not lost its thirst for victory!
Coventry Motofest’s BARC sprint event held on a section of the city’s main ring road was the venue for some vital testing on a range of Gobstopper III engine developments and electronics set up.
Entered in the Sports Libre class in an overall field of 75 cars Olly set the benchmark on the first day of competition posting a course rec...ord which was enough to take the win on Day 1 with a 69.78 second run!
Day 2 saw Gobstopper further improve on the previous days’ time with a 69.64 second sprint to the finish, benefitting from the analysis of data collected from earlier runs allowing the RCM team to really get the car dialled in! Another P1 in the bag!
It was great to have GSI back out doing its thing and being part of such a great event held here in the Midlands and supported by so many world class local companies. Without the technical support from the likes of Alcon Specialist Brakes and Clutches, Arrow Precision and Omega Pistons we simply could not continue to push the boundaries of what is possible with these cars!
Big thanks also go to Paul Blamire who once again worked his magic to ensure the car ran perfectly for the entire weekends racing.
Lastly thanks to everyone who came out to watch the event and support the team along the way!

Big congratulations to Troy @ Prospeed Racing in Australia who set a new Subaru Club lap record at Sydney Motorsport Park North Circuit last weekend! Still in the early stages of development after its latest round of updates the car performed brilliantly powered partly by a range of RCM upgrades including our RCM Dry Sump System, RCM 14mm Superstud head stud kit, RCM Hi Performance Head Gaskets, RCM High Grip timing belt tensioner system and RCM/Alcon Motorsport brake kit! Very helpful and friendly service. Popped in and picked up a part after my main dealer wasn't interested in helping.

Just been to have my JDM hawkeye impreza serviced along with every fluid change possible. RCM looked after me and Emma nearly 11 years ago when we had our P1 and the service is just a good today as it was then. Was welcomed kindly, car was even washed and had its final road test by Ollie himself. Thanks to all the team for the 5* service. Kenny

I chose RCM to do my Timing belt on my STI Spec-D, as I just haven’t got the time, nor inclination to do it myself at present.



I was very pleased with their work and the decent price, compared with a main agent.



Olly kept me informed, and also pointed a couple of other bits out that would benefit from being done whilst it was stripped, which I was happy to get them to do.



I usually do all of my own work on the car, and I’m happy to finally find a company that I can trust to do work for me.



I have spoken to the ‘other’ Subaru performance companies out there before, and found that a simple conversation regarding a few £100’s worth of work by them, soon became a conversation where I’m being advised to spend £1000’s on my car.



I didn’t find any of this when talking to Olly. His advice was concise and straight to the point.



I can recommend RCM, based on my personnel experience. They know their stuff, and you wont feel like they are trying to sell you an engine rebuild, when all your after is a keyring!

Go to store for EJ engine parts! Got a forged omega kit and I’m now feeling confident that my car is less powerful than Gobstopper II and made of the same internals. �
