Roger Warnes Transport Ltd Description

Roger Warnes Transport Ltd, a long established family owned bulk haulage business. Established nearly 50 years ago in Great Dunham, Norfolk where our head office and half of our 85 strong fleet remains today. The remainder of the fleet is based in our more recently acquired King's Lynn depot along with our VOSA Approved Authorised Testing Facility (ATF) and Tachograph Calibration Centre.

The fleet consists of a mix of articulated tippers, rigid tippers and articulated walking floor vehicles. The majority of these vehicle and all of our storage facilities comply with TASSC standards allowing us to transport crops of grain, oilseeds and pulses. Not all vehicles comply with the standards to allow us to transport such products as household waste or chicken litter.

I recently encountered a Roger Warnes vehicle on a narrow road and he stopped and pulled into the bank so I could easily pass by, I wound down my window to thank him and he smiled at me back, credit where it’s due , so many people quick to criticise lorry drivers so excellent work Roger Warnes Transport, keep up the good work!

Driving through Necton last week I was approached by a Roger Warnes lorry taking up most of the road. As the vehicle got close, I could see the driver chatting on his mobile phone. I beeped my horn, but the driver was oblivious. As the lorry clipped my offside wing mirror, I had to change direction, curbing my alloy wheel in the process. After initially accepting the incident, I have now been advised that RWT are not liable and that they receive 'numerous spurious claims from time wasters...' . Personally, I think its a great pity that such an established company have such a poor view of the general public and other road users. Shame on you RWT!

Your lorry drivers give other lorry drivers a bad name....

they speed through small villages in the middle of the road and do appalling hand gestures at members of the public....one of your lorry drivers will end up killing someone before long because they cant drive with any care or caution and can't stick to speed limits!!
