Would just like to a big thank you James and all the team of rollercity for this afternoon. The kids from St Johns Billericay had a fabulous time at their Year 6 Leavers party. Would highly recommend you. All the staff were so friendly and helpful to all the kids and parents. Thank you again xxx
We enjoyed our daughters party at rollacity today. Party host Molly was fantastic and all staff so friendly & helpful. Fully recommend it
They played Chas & Dave that's good enough for me. We come at least once a month and the kids never leave disappointed, we all have fun even my 64 year old dad does it.
My children and i visited as part of a party group yesterday and absolutely loved it. I hadnt put roller skates on since i was pretty young(probably about 25 years) and my children had never even put a roller skate on. Just the laugh we had trying to keep them upright made it worthwhile coming. Once it clicked they had a fantastic time and didnt want to leave. I think some of the reviews on here are pretty harsh. The prices are a bit steep to skate however if you have your own skates you only pay for entry, there was no time limit on skating so you can really get your moneys worth. As for food well, what do you expect when it is aimed at captive audiences. I cant recommend this place highly enough and cant wait to get back here again. X
Love roller city, always have a great time and the staff are always friendly and fun!! X
Great staff and party hosts, would recommend
Came down to skate today with friends. We had a fabulous time! Your staff were efficient, polite and friendly. All equipped with smiles too! Great music and good food also. Thank you all very much, keep up the good work. We'll be back soon!
Absolutely loved it. Took me back to my youth. Even challenged myself to a bit of backwards skating. Definitely dragging the kids along again!
My daughter had her 7th bday party yday. The staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble, my daughter received light up wheels to go on new skates. My other half tried & failed to fit them, phoned rolla city they said no probs we wil do it if we can. Turned out skates were not compatable but to avoid disappointment they put her wheels on hire skates for her so she could light up on the rink which = happy bday girl. The only reason for not giving 5* is the food really let's it down, cheap & poorly presented & awful coffee. If rolla city could get that right then it would b totally amazing. All kids loved it had a lot of 1st time skaters all wanting to go again. Thank u Rolla city x
Had my daughters 7th birthday party there and it all went well. Only thing was having some adult only songs which the kids couldn't go on so they were just watching and waiting. Not a massive problem, it's just I wasn't aware this would happen when a child's party is booked. Otherwise great party, great staff and my daughter wanted to go back the next day so that says it all.
Great venue and good for all ages. I'd give it a 5 if the food and drink area was better organised - only 1 server and a massive queue even if you just want a drink and also not enough seating.
Came on a Saturday night, was busy but pretty well stewarded. Good music and games. Lockers could do with being recyclable as I wanted to get my bag a couple times and lost my money each time! Ended up not bothering to lock it which kinda defeats the object!
Way too expensive at £10! You should have special family rates as this works out very expensive couple of hours out, especially as the drinks and snacks are very expensive. Please consider creating special cheaper events, maybe in your quiet times/days!
My kids always enjoy it here. So skating wise it's fine. My only gripe is the food and drink. Waited 25 minutes for two hot dogs and a wrap on a quiet day, and the hotdog rolls were like soggy sponges. Also got given off cream with my coffee. The second time the fridge didn't work so was given a warm j20. Will go back but won't waste anymore money on food in there.
Lockers needed to be bigger we had to use 3 lockers for our coats and shoes. Would be better if the toilets were down stairs as you need to take skates off to go up then walk on wet dirty toilet floors in your socks . I feel the space hasn't been used to its fullest and as it was a Saturday their should have been more staff on! Pricing is steep roughly £34 for 4 of us and 2x skate hire, my local skating rink in lincolnshire is £16 for a family of 4 and 2×skate hire. The price of food and drinks was also steep! Over all we enjoyed but disappointed with the above I have mentioned.
I like one of the staff members he was so helpful and really helped my daughter and within 10mins she was skating on her own.. didn't like the fact that they do not offer any discount for disabled children and their kitchen was far from impressing.. only fatty foods hot dogs burgers chips ect no salads or anything like that for us allergie suffers also not one bit of fruit!! Only sweets or chocolates so not impressed they need to add healthy foods to the menu.. until then we won't come back x
Great for skating. Prices to skate good too. Staff unhelpful as I misplaced my phone while there yesterday. The guy on the food counter couldn't have been less interested asked me to wait till the other guy had come back from the loo. I waited nearly 10 minutes (long loo visit) gave up and walked up the other end and asked someone else. Food prices disgusting. TIP .... lower your prices people will buy more. Next time I'll bring my own! Also Base on music was too heavy you could feel it pounding through the seating area. Idiots playing music no one like as loads of people skated off! ( I love loud music too)
it's a shame they don't do sessions where the music could be turned down because I'm sure there's lots of people like my son that can not cope with loud noises he made it as far as skate hire and we had to leave.
I worked here for one day then they fired me apparently I wasn't good enough to work for them in the kitchen let alone I have years experience working as a chef but there excuse was the they didnt think I'd cope but they didn't really give me a chance to prove I could do it that is why I am rating this place so low apart from that when I did skate there it was brilliant
