I have started a 6 months online training for Detection Scentwork with School of Canine Science, just to give us something to follow and progress and develop more skills in scentwork.
... This is the first homework, nose touch on a target with some duration! Jock knows nose touches already so he has move to a small target easily 😉
This behaviour is used to teach dogs an indication on the odor!

Dotty is my weekly support plan student!
She has the usual struggle of a very lively working dog (a border collie ) and their owners have decided to opt for a personal plan for her instead of joining a class.
We are going to work together for 8 sessions, to help with:
... 🐾 house training: working on calm down when needed 🐾 manners: jumping up 🐾 leaving the other dog of the house and the cats alone 🐾 engaging her brain with tricks and new behaviours 🐾 working on recall and lead walking 🐾 eventually getting her ready for a sport where she can train in group class
Well done to her owners for stepping up their game and start this training journey!!
