Please note that the Saturday morning support group has now restarted after the summer break. We look forward to seeing members old and new!
Normal time 11.00 – 12.30 – most normally gather in the café from 10.30 onwards.

We are open every Saturday 10.30 am - 12.30 pm EXCEPT between May 26th - June 4th AND July 28th - September 4th when the Lifecentre shuts for holidays.

The following sessions are being run by Stockport Mind. The sessions are FREE and will run from 10.30 am to 12.00 at Romiley Lifecentre. Please message us or email us at romileydepressiongroup@hotmail.com to book your place on eiher or both of the following sessions.
Session 2 – Saturday 16th June – Talking about mental health (how to communicate effectively, breaking down barriers around mental health).
Session 3 – Saturday 30th June – Looking after your mental health (with a focus on how to look after yourself, relaxation and why it’s important).

In support of World Mental Health Day 2017 on Tuesday 10th October and in association with Stockport Mind, we are hosting an inclusive session around mental health which will be free and accessible to all and will cover mental health awareness, discrimination, stigma and diagnosis. The talk will be of interest to all ages including people in the 18 - 30 age group and their carers.
Event takes place: Tuesday 10th October 7.30 - 9.00 pm at Romiley Lifecentre, 3 Stockport Rd, Romiley, Stockport SK6 4BN. No need to book. Just come along!

Did you know that if you text 07725 909090 when you're feeling low or depressed, a crisis counsellor will text you? Many people don't like talking on the phone and may find it difficult to open up to family or friends. Then we have those who may not even have family or friends. Some people are more comfortable texting. It's a service run by the Samaritans Please copy, paste and pass it on (rather than sharing).
